[DM2]setting up td's files

I got the LOMCN.rar files 100% working my problem is when i update it (Legendofmir.rar) which are updated by The death .

i used 2 databases on MSSQL for restoring the char.bak and LomData.bak

and done with the ODBC settings and when i started the Exe's and loging

after selecting the char ...Black Screen... dunno what to do tbh here is an image with my exe's running

I had same problem with black screen, I read it some where ( this fixed mine ) depending what .exe you have is what ini you need. one of them requires your mir.ini ( in wemade folder what ever ) to be called mir.ini the other one needs it to be called mir2.ini.

Was my problem wasnt sure what one I was running so I just saved the mir2.ini to mir.ini and all fine now

Do not update database from dd files. use jasper lom2full. u need to create only 1 database with name lom2 or mir2.

dont forget to change file directions in !setup if using only single data

this data includes the advanced guild functions from 04/05/06 update

Iam using your db now . the only diffrence is i dont have the Helen Npc error

and my M2server and all other exe's are 100% working .

Still BLACK SCREEN

any error running your server?

If there is no error on your server try this solution it might work, we have the same problem before when i updated my server file.

If you updated your LOMCN2.rar to Legendofmir.rar from TD's updates there is no GameGate.exe update but there is a RunGate.exe

So use the RunGate.exe instead of GameGate.exe

make sure your server running without error otherwise there is another problem on your configuration.

YAYY !! got it working now .. changed the my old GameGate to the rungate which was in the legendofmir.rar .. silly prob tbh but wasnt my fault .
