[DM2] transfering chars to another account

ok,

I need a bit of help, i would like to transfer one char on an account to another account, for example "char1" is on account id 12345 i want to transfer "char1" to id 123456


any help would be great

Just a complete guesstimate, but completly delete the char of the server and then make the same named char on the other account. Seing as the info for all of your storage and spell, well everything is in SQL then this method should work. please try this with a noob 1st as i haven't tested this, just a guesstimate as mentioned above g/l buddeh

nope that wouldnt work buddy as it would just say the name already exsists, and to confirm ive just tried it out lol

I think the only link of ID and charname is in hum.db, open this in a hex editor and search for the character name you are looking for and then change the ID.
If the server it running, do not save the .DB if it has been updated by the server else you will have a mini rewind and mess things up.
