Good tactic of war? One of the things mir has over other games? Lol please. It's something that has been punishable on other servers and rightly so. There's nothing tactical about having to make Sabuk owners turn up in full force to defend a wall something which should be a fun experience PvP scenario THAT is part of Mir, not this oh let's war so they have to go and sit in Sabuk alone for an hour wasting elixers buffs hunt gold while u all go farm bosses. Stop making grief and scumbag tactics out like they have a place in mir it's relatable imo to wedding ring griefing someone surrounded by objects to push them out of safezone in order to kill afk people for items. (Doesn't work on zircon) this kind of **** isn't fun and smart and doesn't really have a place in mir. Not everyone wants to be nice to each other but fair play shouldn't be much to expect lol

why rightly so? I’ve never heard something so silly in all my life :lol

well, actually you don’t have to turn up, it’s a choice, it’s a well planned tactic that makes a guild have to make a choice, do you defend or do you hunt bosses and risk loosing the sw title. How is that not tactical.... Seems very tactical to me..... Do you know what tactical means?... Would you like a link to the definition on google?

yeah.... When you try to compare two things to strengthen your argument it’s usually best to compare two things of a similar stature, abusing the wedding ring tele by blocking someone in until you force them out of sz so you can pk them isn’t really in the same type of ballpark now is it? Let’s try and not go full retard with this ok.... This forums full of melts, are you vegan by any chance?

not everyone wants to be nice to each other but fair play shouldn't be much to expect lol

all is fair in war my friend, if you think otherwise then you are not prepared for war!

I was thinking about this a bit, if even numbers make a big impact then there are some ideas that could be used from the Taeshan Castle event on korean.

Taeshan Castle is a new map they have that you get to from the top of Snow Village, there’s a big castle area at the top right-ish of the map and a small town bottom left. Each day a convoy leaves the castle to the town. Players can register at an NPC to attack or defend the convoy. There are some rewards for whichever side wins. Let’s say 20 people register to attack but 50 people register to defend, once the event starts the team with smaller numbers gets a load of NPC’s added to even it out. For this event I think the NPC’s are level 80 with appropriate gear for that level.

Not sure how hard that would be to code in, but it could be an option, obviously would need a way of determining average level of those going to war to calculate where to set the NPC level. It could work that the holders are automatically defenders, relic submission makes that guild attackers, in the run up to the war all other guilds can register with an NPC in SW for either of those two sides. At start of war numbers of players that turn up is calculated and NPC’s fill the gap. Also avoids the need for an alliance system as once you’ve registered as attacker or defender it just places each side into what is already the war mode.

Sounds like an interesting concept, depending what files Jamie has access to he migh already have this tucked away as part of a future expansion, would be nice to see three walls each with a different mechanic to win.

Taeshan isn’t a wall you can win, it’s just a map with a daily PvP event. The 3rd wall is a different map entirely.

This is Taeshan:
