Do drop charms add gold to drops?

gold drops are 1/1 - drop rate doesnt seem to effect amount of gold dropped (test this yourself buy using the low level exp/drop chance gear and gamegold pot)

Drop chance will just affect the chance to get any items (rare, normal, potions etc) to drop - jamie posted the calculations in another thread.
