Doors won't open after login

i know i'm close, but for whatever reason i don't know maybe spite, my computer has to be a pain in the arse doesn't it, nothing is ever simple when it comes to things like this i tell myself,
it all seems so simple but there's always something there to slow you down or just plain take the piss and not work.

i am using the 1.9 emu ready to go foundation files,
i've actually tried to get on it with an old Project69 1.4 client from before the server went to 1.9.
i suppose it works because i've managed to create an account, but after i click ktest, nothing happens,
i've followed the lemu guide also to see if that was easier but after failing at that, i'd rather just use whatever normal client i need to get onto this server,
after failing to log in, and closing mir, the GameGate has this ---]$[---
it only does this after i fail to log in.

What i would like is some kind soul to tell me what client i should use for these server files.
each time i think i've got it and click a link saying 1.9 emu client or whatever,
i end up with like a 5 mb download that looks just like the mir.exe,
i don't understand...

Don't use 3in1 - get a RegServer by searching

doesnt open due to gate 0 not opening :P means ur reg sever prob screwed if ips r correct.

i've been through the IPs and they are all correct, that bit is simple,
i've tried using 3in1 i've also tried RegServer
the one with the anime on it, also the other RegServer with the dog on it,
this one i can't even work out, after clicking start absolutley nothing happens, and in a screen shot i've just looked at it should come up with ip and port and stuff,
i've also tried the RegServerLM with a M2Server.exe that RipMan put up,
he said it must work, not for me.

note: the userinfo.txt file IS in the same folder as the LServer.exe, and the info contained in it is :

[127.0.0.1]#20FC20FC5447!

in !setup i have:

[Reg]
ServerAddr=127.0.0.1
IP=127.0.0.1
Key=20FC20FC5447
ServerPort=63000

this is the key and port RipMan said to use, this won't work and neither does the previous info.

Check for an extra space implemented in any of your fiels (e.g. between IPs)

ur reg server isnt being picked up, run this first thenc licks start then run the rest but run m2serv last and it will work

I just sent him a copy of my working GameGate - which will hopefully help make things work.

As mentionned we can't test till Calmo has the 1.9 client files, so we're waiting for a result now.

you definatley solved the GameGate,
but now the problem is it won't show the server select box,
i've been tweaking and playing with two files, one of which i changed an ip from 0.0.0.0 to 127.0.0.1
i'm not sure which cofig i changed SelGate or LoginGate, either way i'm goin to refer myself back to the guide and input the correct info for both files just to be sure.
but as i say, now it won't display the Server select box, and if tweaking these cofigs doesn't fix it, then i have another nice little problem to deal with:dpoined:
it may be the RegServer as some of you have said, i don't actually know which one i'm using at the moment as neither seem to work.

I've tried 3in1, RegServer, and RegServerLM,
i'd like to get it to work with the first RegServer,

if any of these RegServer ports are wrong please tell me because i did change them, and i'm not sure if i've returned them to what they should be.

M2Server: 60320
RunGate: 64000
DBServer: 6000

i'm gonna keep at it.

It's most likely the 0.0.0.0 IP u chanegd in the LoginGate (GateAddr=0.0.0.0)

If you think about it - the LoginGate helps u to log in, so if you're having problems logging in it's most likely going to be that that's caused it ;p

GateAddr has to be 0.0.0.0

Just testing it atm. I spent like 4 hours on msn last night trying to help Calmo fix this... I have his files working on my PC atm, so he's just disabled unpnp and is testing it now on his.

EDIT: Problem fixed - Calmo can log on fine now.

List of problems encountered:

- !Setup.txt contained multiple copies of certain server elements
- Regserver had incorrect port loading for DBServer
- UnPnP was enabled
- Incorrect paths in Serverinfo.txt
- Mispelling in dbsrv.ini (There's a t missing from one of the Ports - make sure it stays missing)
- 0.0.0.0 IPs were changed

Just a handy tip to new users - make sure you get the files working before trying to gonfigure them - just some small mistakes can cause a big problem.
