Download trouble

Hi all, finally getting round to downloading this. The patched keeps getting stuck on data/cbohum3.wzl, I’ve seen it mentioned a few times on here but no answer as to getting round it – any advice?*

Also the patcher is all off centre so the user count is about 5cm over to the right of the background image it should be on…*

I thought I had, I could see it mentioned but the poster said he had resolved it but failed to share how - my apologies if I have missed something useful

Solution:
Open the PatchClient.ini and change the host from "ftp" to "http":

[AutoPatcher]
Host=http://162.243.83.44/NewPatcher/
Username=
Password=

Also are you sure you are using the latest patch exe file

Make sure you run the patcher as an Administrator, a few users had this problem - not sure if related to yours but still worth doing.

Hi, still having the issue after adjusting the ini and running as admin with virus protect off - i redownloaded the patcher direct from the website..

Not sure what the next step is? the text/pictures are still all off centre too..

Are you 100% sure you are using the patch from this link

Yup, and just tried again - i am also noticing the patcher download speed is freezing after about 3/4 mins of patching and never fluctuating.

i tried the full download mirror/torrent but the links aren't active..

If its any help i downloaded the whole client and it only froze once using patcher 2.0.2

Not sure if relevant but the machine has recently been restored to factory, could it be missing something vital?

the dodgy screen looks like its something your end.

Have you run windows update to ensure you have the latest everything after your wipe?

.net framework maybe ?

or as the text looks bigger then it should on the top of the window he has text magnification turned up ?

not too sure about the bit where it stops downloading though sorry

Made sure framework was updated to the 4.5.2 or whatever it is now..
I have my text settings to the smallest but i would have thought everything should adjust for that,

I have this same issue on Windows 8 and after logging in if you leave your character standing still for longer than 30 seconds you lag out, well this is the issue im having iv tried all sorts to fix it with absolutely no luck, even tried re-installing numerous times too, no luck.

So I'm finally on, I got a pal who could patch it to stick the files on a memory stick and then the patcher worked for another 2gb of data and now it's running. So good news but I still have no idea why it didn't work first time round..

Also the text is still off centre...
