Im seeing more n more items every week. As the average level rises as do the average items. Its standard practise in any well designed drop system.

Surely they should be BETTER than Euro?
Experience is, what, x2 Euro rates? Drops should reflect that otherwise you'll get a bottleneck like we currently have; level 25 warriors with the same kit (minus armour) as 40+'s. It's a bit ridiculous.

On Euro at peak there were more than 1000 players consistently for a few years. There were not all these high exp maps like PI like BDD.
I didn't get a 26 weap til I was 28. I don't remember everyone running round with SOWG. I don't remember there being that many WSB even until the last couple of exploited years.

Samuel knows how to code, this we all know. But he lacks mir knowledge. This was the case on mir2forever only on there eternal did not know how to code or have any knowledge of mir.

How can you say Eternal had no knowledge of mir when his fan site has been the reference point for every one for years n years? He played most servers too. He just didn't like pvp and wanted a non competitive inclusive mir. Everyone knows its a testoserone fuelled e penis tournament. Despite that his server lasted about 3 years. Much longer than a lot of others.

Not true. If there is zero chance then why did a 36 war weapon drop to me last night?

Drop to your zerg rush? Otherwise I'd classify that as a "guild" item.
Tbh Apex/DD members drop better than any mob ingame.

Also the drops on euro were quite a bit better than here. In the initial month of inception of BDD my guild had 2x lv40 weps drop and multiple black weps while ts'ing. I had a magic scythe/frost crunch drop within a week of 1.9 being added in.

The whole "euro had 1000+ active players 24/7 argument is wrong. 2.3+ Most days BW was about as busy as MW is currently but more hunting as there was actually more drops. Its the carrot at the end of the stick you know your gonna get something so you stick around. The drops being viewed by people are misinterpreted but the expectation is still not far off.

I can say a full night of bossing on euro i never ended up strugging the next day to hunt due to no pot cash. Usually always made enough off 3-4 bosses to sustain myself a few days. That's with paying obscene amounts for high level books/gear as most guilds didn't just GIVE you items. (140mill for first FF book ingame)

I know this isn't euro but as the exp is x3 wouldn't you expect progression to be about that same amount? Hopefully fixed with the soon 2.0 patch. I know there's still people trying to get there accounts back aswell.

Everyones expecting this 2.0 patch to be something really amazing, with drops increased ... let's face it, it'll probably end up being no better than what it is currently ... keep the carrot dangling to keep people interested for another few months.

Euro was low rate, and the drops were OK there. Hunting at 40+ in basic shop gear is pathetic. People hunt bosses, and they drop FA too.

Gaining items in caves from normal mobs should still be in there, not just from bosses. As someone mentioned previously, the chances of a WSB or similar was one in a year from normal mobs, what's wrong with this? IIRC i never had any weapon drop from leveling in caves in my euro mir days.

There are smaller guilds out there, who aren't interested in bosses, people who can't fight back for them, they should have a chance to gain items too. You know the kind, the ones where the members are all over 40+ and can't do ****.

Everyone knew the drops were poor, and complained about them before the drop files were leaked, and we're told that they will be updated straight away ... who's to say this will even happen?

The usercount has dropped a lot lately, though you can't put it down to one thing alone, but for myself, it's getting kinda repetative hunting bosses over and over for nothing.

Bosses aren't as rewarding farming/fighting over on here as they were on Euro.

That much I know.

I had a magicscythe from a toxicghoul on Euro - why can't that happen on here?

The drop's on here for mobs/boss's are pretty terrible to be fair. MirKing same drop file as Yimoogi? lol. Why bother getting maps. OKS Drops literally **** all by itself.

EvilMir drop files have most of the drop file still as "Comments" (;) so that what you're reading can't actually be dropped... Mir items can't even drop from it atm.

Tbh i noticed aswell the usercount has dropped dramaticaly ... from 500+ to 200+ 300 top ... and half of them are afk ... dunno if it's just me but i dont think this will be a " long term " server ... as far as i can see more and more are leaving / quiting

Yup they had no idea how incredibly low their drop rates were.. theirs "low rate" then theirs LOW RATE the rates they had in from start your looking at a 5 year old server to get decent weps/skills for the lvls people are currently at right now, tbh last couple weeks stuff that's happened half players lost trust and faith in server. Best thing to do now dramatically increase drop rates of all stuff and let people have fun on it for a few months cos it aint gunna last much past 6 months anyway....

No denying the user count is dropping slowly but no need to go all doomsday, the user count was 400 last night at peak, spreading misinformation doesn't help.

Although I have quit the server still has my attention. The files are top notch and the server has a lot of potential. The problem I see with this server is something I have seen many times over the years. Sam is a great coder but he lacks mir knowledge, same thing with Iceman and his servers and a couple of others.

C10 were a step ahead of everybody else as far as boss hunting went which is probably what made me give up. Watching bosses die over and over only to ever see 1-2 items of worth drop got very tedious.

I'll be keeping my eye on this when patch 2.0 is put into play but if things don't change I'll not be back.

The user count is always a steady 400 at peak evening times, dropping to 150-200 in the early hours(which is still more than most private servers at peak). That says to me 100-150 less than 2-3 weeks ago which is common when a servers initial "buzz" wears off
