drops in general

Hi, just a quick question, not expecting anyone to tell me drop files etc just some clearing up for me please.
Iv been hunting in PSC, i know this isnt a brilliant place for drops in general but iv not had any items for level 26+ drop here. As quests state its a level 28+ cave i would of expected to find some items for 28-33 best iv had so far is a greataxe.
Also after reading a few posts over the last couple of months about weapon drops etc, people seem to keep mentioning boss's or sub boss's for items like 36 weps etc.
I just wanted to ask really if we could expect to find any items dropping from normal mobs an not just subs or boss's as i dont get long to play any more, an the time im on i like to spend leveling a bit to try keep up an not fall to far behind.

Normal monsters do drop rares but at a rare rate, there have been reports of some high level skills dropping in PT

Poisoncloud drops from toxic ghouls but I'm not confident that the mobs in there drop 36 weapons like they did on euro.

I got an sc3 Gold Belt drop in there so good drops can happen never got any rare weapons though

Aside from the added/slotted gear than can drop anywhere, best Iv heard of by far in any cave from normal mobs are the books.

PT Fire Mino's drop FlameField
PSC/PI Toxic's drop PoisonCloud
Foxes in Fox cave can drop Flamefield/Curse/ProtectionField from their respective class of fox.
LionRoar drops in ZT from normal mobs very rarely, and much more often from Moths if you can be bothered to harvest them.

Never yet heard of a 36/40 wep dropping from normal mobs anywhere like they used to in Euro.

Thanks for the reply, gives me a bit more to go on whilst hunting thats all am means i can vary the caves around to try get me that one bigger drop. Iv not found any items either tbh, even things like DragonRings, maybe im just very unlucky on my char. I was hoping yo be able to find some items rather than saving up to buy them off tm all the time or even items to trade.

hunted PB yesterday, all that dropped were pots and the odd 22 Armour. very disappointing.

I do think the drops off normal mobs in this game are too rare tbh. not a complaint though just an observation.

I did think this myself but as it is everyone doesnt have the best of the best just even for items to drop lrvel rang items in caves to give a bit more of a cash flow for players to buy items. But that being said i have 2 mil so i can always hunt an pot etc just cant afford to buy alot of items when they become available

No they have not, nothing has been changed in relation to drops in over 3 months apart from items and spells being added.

Lvl 0-44 had 1 item added lol, dc0-1 skelly helm, I must be the unluckiest player ever :'(

It depends where you hunt, if your hunting in high exp areas they tend not to drop many items so you have less chance of finding an added one just by the law of averages.

If you kill large quantities of things like bugs or zombies you tend to finds 100ds of items giving a higher chance for a gold/yellow

P.s 36 weaps drop from foxes. Very rare.
