Hi.

I was wondering what people think about dura loss on accessories etc. I find as a warrior that my necklace, rings, braces, helmet, belt and boots drop so fast that I am pretty much repairing after each hunt. This results in them losing max dura really fast and make me not want to use any of the more decent items I have.

I'm not saying that I would like to see them with the same rates as armours but maybe a 50% or even 100% increase would be REALLY helpful.

Opinions please?

Actually a nice idea, would be nice if melee didn't lose dura 4x quicker then ranged too(even a Tao who doesn't want to melee).

I'm sure some will disagree, but they don't like change! :(

I think you'll find that the only people who will disagree will be Archers, Wizards and maybe Taoists. basically anyone who doesn't have to melee all the time. It's ridiculous how fast my kit dies on hunts.

This would be a welcome change but i think as this is a low rate and adding dura to items will make them last too long.

My mains an archer and i don't suffer the same as a melee class dependent on which cave i choose to hunt in, if i go st or bc my dura gets raped, maybe instead of adding dura adding a stat like strength which i believe makes dura drop slower would be a way to go.

Or they could make hard torches have better dura and last a bit longer so they are actually usefull!

I'v just quit my hunter but I agree, dura system is really unfair to melee classes. I never had to repair on hunter.

Its never been needed before THATS THE PRICE OF BEING A WARRIOR!! You wanna be a pansy in perfect robes shiny rings and frilly fekkin boots then be a wizard, warriors we charge in head first **** **** up **** up our own kit and are proud of it.

I still think Normal and Special repair concept is broken, I can't think of any other game where you get punished for using your items.

Let people hunt with their items without Dura worry, find other ways to take them out of game, Upgrading, Refining, Gemming.

Also agree, dura is such a pain in the arse. If you goto ST,ZT,BC dura drops so fast its mad.

On here items die even quicker than normally. Ive been playing warriors since euro and this is the first server im scared to use good items lol. They are rare as it is but say a boundlessring drops, a week or of using it would be completly dura shagged lol. Theres no compromise for melee classes Every single hunt my whole kit pretty much needs repair. The only thing that you have at a decent rate of dura decline per hunt is armour dura, everything else is silly.

Maybe not necessarily add dura but slow down the dura loss rate i mean i done a test the other day and in a 35 minute hunt 1 of my rings went from 5/5 to 2/5 lol and thats not diving into mobs like a lunatic either, now thats just coralrings.. imagine thats a boundless/osr etc or nicely gemmed/slotted accessories which is rare as ****....

Its bad enough warriors have to share our items(dc stat) with sins and archers, making buying dc items more expensive, but then the rate dura drops is a joke lol.

Yeah sorry, let me clarify. I didn't mean add extra dura onto items, I meant decrease the rate that they drop by maybe 50-100% or something. I can't have a full on 3 hour hunt like I enjoy because my kit just won't last that long.

If your a melee character dura goes down to 0 in usually 1 hunt. (In most mobby dungeons)

Which brings us to another problem, who would pay 1m+ for a 'rare' that would only last less then a week after hunting/repairs.
Any accessories I find that is worth more then 100k I try and sell right away.
Another reason why alot of people are in shop kits, they sell any 'rares' they find cause its better to have the gold then actually use the item for a few days. We need special repair or longer durability duration.

For example:
Found a KnightBracelet, sure would've been nice to actually use it...But it would only last about a week until dura would be at 1.
Sold it to the next poor soul.

+1, I'm amazed the 'testers' didn't report this? What exactly DID they do? Currently with the huge competition for dc items and then dura is raped in minutes, no surprises that warriors are all scraping around for cash, unless you've been exceptionally lucky with drops etc. This needs sorting now, it needed sorting in closed beta ffs!

Well. Samuel and the team wanted immense testing of the QUEST system. So we did just that. Several times. We reported many broken things, but sadly when you only have at most 10 testers online, for a server as big as this, it becomes impossible to test everything.

Also the fact we weren't @levelled at all until the very very end of testing, and by then people had grown bored of testing.

Don't blame the testers, blame the team for not allowing an Open Beta which would have given 200x more results.

Hi mate, my tao says that I think you should hunt with taos more to combat this. Mass hiding will do your dura the world of good.

my sin says yeah its annoying dura loss but it always the way mir has been. Its why I just hunt in shop kit and save the rares for bosses

thats the thing though armours are fine atm they drop dura at a decent rate its just accessories that go every single hunt lol, i know id never go out my way to buy a accessory as it is atm
