Easter Event and 1.9 Patch (18/04/2014)

No1 has even mentioned the event lols. So, as I said on facebook...can we have the event for a little longer than 3 days? 5-7 days maybe? Its easter weekend and no doubt quite a few ppl will be spending time with family etc. Id like to know how long the crafted event items last. Are they for 3 days, if so hardly seems worth collecting to make them. I hope they will not expire til a week or 2 after events done . Also looking forward to these new medallion thingys. Gud job. Now fix the ingame clock plz

agree with this I don't want to miss event log back on and get owned by people wearing easter kits for a week or 2, 7 day event would be good

Well if items/skills start dropping all over the place that people have spent DAYS/WEEKS hunting for would you not be annoyed?

Happens all the time in Mir. Ppl payin 1.3m for TDB then its 200k 5 days later. None of it is "worth" anything. You do know everyone is going to get everything eventually. Might have taken another couple months now it will only take weeks.
having stuff cos you can hunt in the day when theres little or no competition or can stay up all night when there's no competition doesnt mean you deserve anything. It just means you can play when other people work or sleep.

It is not a waste of time if you currently have the best gear you are in a position to get the most out of upgraded drops. As if its the case that your better and more equipped you are most likely able to kill more bosses than everyone else and win in pvp due to the items you currently have thereby increasing your ability to garnish even more items under a higher drop rate.
In the two week time everyone will have the items you currently have, but by then you have the next tier of items already. Think about things before you complain lol.

Better drops.. Good thing so ling as nothing gets flooded. Everyone should expect their time and items to be of lesser value everytime a tweak is made. This is what happens in mmos so that new and old all play on an even field.
You grind to be ahead for that time only not forever.

In my opinion he shouldnt say anything about any changes to drops. Players shouldnt know whats in the drop files at all.
What do u mean win? You can be highest level, have most pk points, have the highest ac/mc/dc or something. Is that winning?

Hope drops haven't been super ramped up, there are very few items that you can't get hold of as is, don't want everything common as muck!

I dont think he meant a detailed outlay of every drop.. Just a rough percentage.

Drastically changing the drops, would in many ways be like gm's halfing the exp needed from lvl 45-46. Some people like to level.. others like the gain kit and hunt bosses

Event sounds carefully thought out not to make too much difference to rest of game just hope the medal doesn't give too much extra and does have a limited life and not last forever even if its 3months

Easter gear consists of a Necklace/Bracelet/Ring/Boots/Shoes that are well stated at 0 weight and level, however, Easter gear has a life expectancy and when it has expired it is useless.

One of the best events i remember in mir was a mir3 easter event giving out Easter weapons, they had amazing stats but once equipt they would delete themselves from the account after about a week. Looks like the main items in this event will be the same.
