If they do add an exp event I won't complain like, just would rather have something a little more thought out .. I'm giving the staff the benefit of doubt that they've created something tasty and are waiting to give us the info

As said people dont "catch up" they level once or twice to realise that the average level just raised by 5...

Something to do with bosses/content.
Dont flood items or exp.

Dont let exp pots stack with event exp?? So you expect the team to penalise the people who keep this server running lol?

I dont think the term you are looking for is "penalise"
Considering everyone would be on more exp than a pot can grant i woukd call that a bonus not a penalty.

Make a cave full of bosses(bone lords mtk etc) obviously with a different drop table but huge exp, would promote group play and PvP while also being able to get some exp.

EXP boost for under 50 Should have some mobs that you can get gems or maybe marbles for the better gems...
