EI Minimizes to desktop

Ok basically when i start up EI it minimizes to desktop then i maximize it again connect to the server the i click login with my char then it minimizes again.. :\ then i maximize it again and then it wont let me click ok on the message you get before you can start playing because it moves it off screen. i was wondering if i need a new login screen because mines all mucked up. Thanks

It works for me, S"tart > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs"

then scroll to the bottom and uninstall the hotfix in question "KB824141" It comes up with a list of things that might not work, its naff, ignore it

you proberbly didnt archive the file when it asked if you wanted to archive for removal at a later date...

i have the same problem and i cant uninstal that update. Is there another way to get rid of it?

Theres an update on the windows update site.. in "XP updates" folder..that fixes the problem without having to delete the old update...

I'm downloading now.. hope it works.. I'll let u know..
