ERR HELP PLEASE - no text ingame

I load up my server - FINE

but when im making account, chosing server, viewing GM message ect. AND EVEN INGAME on chat box and NPC's ect....

I HAVE NO TEXT - there is no writing whatsoever on my server

I've never ever ever ever heard if anyone having this problem.

Reinstall 1.4 perhamps and maybe server files remembering to back up db's etc.

Honestly, how someone can have no chat on their server is beyond me in all ways possible

try using ctrl and f to change the font, maybe using a faulty one.

Try pressing the ENTER button, once you get ingame, so that you can see a grey line where you write in your messages...

HMm m8 does it happen on all servers or just yours? If it hapens on all of them then re install mir, if it happens just on urs then reinstall your server files m8.

some people actually do that. They go ingame and type anything, where if you want to chat, you either have to press the enter or (return key) or space bar...!!

Don't take it against him as he's only iliminating the possibilities. Hell, everyone 'spams'.

Maybe you have a blocked port or faulty connection on the chatserver. In the !setup.txt chat/message server setting are as follows.

MsgSrvAddr=127.0.0.1
MsgSrvPort=4900

Where 127.0.0.1 is your IP.
After you'e checked setup you might want to check the port to see if anything is using it, then check that your firewall(s) arn't blocking access.

just reinstall 1.4, if the problem persists, reinstall server files, if the problem persists download 1.4 from another place, if problems persist after that download server files from another places [fernies] and if it still continues - then damn ur unlucky


btw is cooleye that dude that spammed half of this forum elligneo or something.
