error opening M2server... HELP!!!

every time i try to open M2server it gives me an unknown error and
Application Error:

Exception EsocketError in module M2SERVER.EXE at 00050F2A
Windows socket error: (10048), on API ''bind''


please could somebody help me sort this out or give me another file so i can give it a go

Windows socket error: (10048), on API ''bind''

means you have a program already connected to the socket, so m2server cant
connect to it, check what ports your other programs are using and stop them
or change the ports your m2server uses.

If ur trying to run a server on Windows XP HomeEdition u have to end 2 Processes for it to work:-

Crtl+Alt+Del
Processes

Search For:-

Image Name - User Name - CPU - Mem Usage
svchost.exe - LOCAL SERVICE - 00 - 1,340K
svchost.exe - NETWORK SERVICE - 00 - 1,232K

End those 2 Processes and the M2Server should work.

tnx all... managed to get it working had to use unPnP and that prossess halting.
