so ive finished again 99% of my last feature im adding before i start to finalise and get the server ready for some form of beta testing
the
Runic System
i wanted a feature that the players work together to complete.
basic idea is that players collect runes and use them to fill in the runes system. you can click the minimap icon to view it
players can find runes while hunting and if they use them they will be added to the servers rune system
this system is sever wide and its not induvidual
all players online will be informed once a rune has been added to the system and will tell you how many remain in a given section
once the final rune in a given section has been found and used it will activate that sections rune buff, everyone who is online will gain the buff and those who connect during the buffs duration (the duration and buffs actual details are a WIP)
once the buff runs it will be wiped and players will start again on that section
if the server manages to activate all 4 sections before the induvidual sections run out then the ultimate rune buff will activate
if the server manages to activate the completed runes buff it will be a long server buff (8/12/24/48hours [WIP])
runes are rare drops so making sure the server works together will be key to actually activating the final completed buff i will make them storable but the rest are true on these items
and thats the last feature im adding for the start of the server.
i have other features i want to do but will be saving those for more of an endgame expansion rather than in place at the start
oh and lastly the zones on the rune system (bichon/woomyon etc) is an indication on where those runes drop
