I have searched but I'm having problems...

How exactly is EM supposed to work? I understand how the walls work and 1-6 etc but what's happening is that when EM's life reaches 0 it dissapears, but the walls are still there. Also, if you continue to attack the empty space within the walls it just floods the floor with items everytime lol :/ until eventually the walls die as well and it stops dropping... however it also doesn't allow you to pick the items off the floor, as if it was someone elses kill...

I'm guessing this is wrong, it is code or something I can fix?

Try remove the txt doc drop files for the walls. If that works just reduce the drops in the walls.

I'm sure that would stop the items dropping but is what I mentioned above correct in terms of how he's supposed to drop? i.e. EM dissapears and you're left with invisable walls which drop several times before they die :/

doesn't sound right

Im not sure why EvilMir even has walls, im sure theres some reason for it...

i had a similar problem with my EvilMir.... id kill EvilMir and the drop would go underneath the walls, and i couldnt walk through the walls to pick up items without GM run turnd on.

All i did was remove the walls from the mob database and presto! EvilMir now works fine, walls never droped items for me as i dont have drop files for the walls...

The walls are there as a defence, to stop people directly hitting EM. It also stops people walking through it's body, as it's such a big mob.

I'd like to keep it like that if possible...but unlike what you said my items seem to drop quite far away as apposed to behind the walls so that isn't really the issue.

If you are using TD's files, I dunno what your problem could be. When I tested them the walls couldn't be killed until EvilMir died, then to get an EM drop you'd then have to kill the walls, and the drop would drop in the front area where characters would stand. There are something like 16-20 walls(?) And after each wall would die it would drop from the drop file.(each time) So there must be alot of 1/1 drops in your files.

They are in sets. In your mon db they are called 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. EM spawns one set of walls each time he spawns, and it goes in sequence. The first spawn will have wall set 1, second 2, and so on. This is also how your drops are defined, that way you can make it so EM's drops improve the more he is killed.

kyn didnt have anything todo with the mon in the dm2 files when he started,
i been dealing since he started working on the 2.6 but now the mons/ai's are nice and perfect

I think hone was on about lifco's release that kyn tryed fixing in a short amount of time but didn't relise the full extent of how many bugs were in them. I'm sure he wlll be much happier with the files he's working on now :P

lol that EM is not coded right, and the drop rates sound ridiculus, 1/3 for mir items?


EM on euro, has 10 stages, in total drops 10 gold bars (so u know uve killed all 10 stages)
then it takes about 30mins to reset itself

EMs itself drops NOTHING, and gives 1 exp.

EMs wall dop after x amount of hits to them, like chestnut trees

EM wall 1 would drop after say a total of 300 hits to the 30 odd walls that are there ... then i belive it would kill all the walls after 300 hits, drop its drop on the later, then respawn wall no2 imediaently afterwards.. and continue all the way to level 10 walls

once level 10 walls sometimes they would all be gone completely (how it was meant to happen, so u could walk where EM is) but sometimes they were bugged and didnt break so walls would still be there)


and i can tell u this.. the drops were nothing liek 1/3 lol that would be stupid. they were prob like 1/500 or more, armour/sword musta defo been 1000+ ... even then them items aint even rare, it all depends wot else u got in the drop files rly

this is why on euro u could get the full 10 drops w/o actually killin EM, but most guilds would take the few mins to kil EM, and then just hit the walls for the 20mins while w8in for rs + not get owned by EM constnatly.

im not rly sure if EM ever leveled up on euro, personally i didnt rly notice a difference in stage 1 or 10, so im goin to say no.

ne who, on TDs files EM works like this:

it has 20 stages, each stage gets slightly harder than the next mc/sc/dc wise

stage 1 2 3 4 drop from the text file called 1.txt (eg the wall 1.txt)
stage 5 6 7 8 drop from the text file called 1.txt (eg the wall 2.txt)
stage 9 10 11 12 drop from the text file called 1.txt (eg the wall 3.txt)
stage 13 14 15 16 drop from the text file called 1.txt (eg the wall 4.txt)
stage 17 18 19 20 drop from the text file called 1.txt (eg the wall 5.txt)

so make sure u got at least walls in ur database called 1-9 i had ne way (im pretty sure its every 4 kills it changed drop but i could be wrong, it may be 3 but i highly doubt it as its not a multiple of 20... so im defo sure its every 4)


EM walls can only be broke once EM is dead, and they die after x amount of hits (dependin on what HP u set them at in the database) or if u poison kill them/ PA

and the code came rite from the outest code and the phili code is the same seems pretty when ingame

fair enuff, but like i said....... thats how euro EM works, so the philli.outtest is obviously wrong

i camped EM so much on euro, i know for a fact it had 10 drops, and in total ud get 10 bars i rly cant remember if it was 1 bar per drop or it was like.. no bars for 1st 3 then 1 2 3 4 or it was just a random chance on each drop but totaled in 3 but 100% it would always end on 10 bars

it defo didnt hvae 7 stages lol

yer i know but im just sayin even if them drop files are wrong, uve said it only has 7 stage, im sayin it has 10 lol

how does ur EM drop aswell... when EM dies? or after x amount of hits on the walls?

personally ive taken a different approach on fourheros and made it its own system, where it levels up 10x and lvl 10 is much harder than 1. and customized its drops etc

but uve always said ur goin for a euro copy so just sayin thats how its meant to be

then the real drops start for 10 levels of em
