"Failed to connect to server"

Herrow there.
i am getting a "failed to connect to server" message, whenever i click the chronicles button.

ran patcher. It says that it is downloading 3 files, starts with audio.pak then does some others. about 173mb in total.
run the game after it finishes and then it says "failed to connect to server" again.

run autopatcher and it does the exact same thing as last time... downloads the files again and same result.

any ideas?

Windows just did an update, you might need to dd to firewall again
