Fate Quest

Ok so I spent pretty much the whole night doing this quest chain, and managed to reach the part where you have to clear the fate cavern and collect the broken weapon. However this is physically impossible for the level you get the quest I have tried twice, the first time I did not know what to expect, the second time i prepared with a full bag of mp and 3 impact drugs.

Even with all this I could not kill everything inside, there was a minimum of 7 atleast left inside when I was teleported out.

Basically I feel the monsters need either a slight nerf in hp or less monsters inside, the quest is obtained at 28, and unless I have an amazing kit, there is going to be no chance of this until 33 or higher more than likely.

Currently it feels like i wasted my whole night, when I could of leveled and just wait for a better weapon in the long run.

I just want Sam/Turrican/Nemo to add an input on this quest chain, collecting all the ore was hell enough with the RNG you need >.<

Nothing you can say on this? wasn't sure if fate weapons are still 35 or seeing as the quest is 28 they might of been reduced slightly.

If they are 35, then the quest is probably fine :P

Fate quests / rewards is intended for lvl 35+

Gave this another go with better gear and still no chance as an archer, we have no aoe to help with killing them. Even at level 35 I would probably only have the extra 10seconds aspeed from rapidfire as extra damage increase :/

Can a GM give it a go as a 35 archer and let me know how they do please :/ cause at this rate, I won't even bother doing the quest lol

Aye, my friend told me there is an easy way to do it as an assassin involving HeavenlySword, tho it isn't much aoe the way its done, you single target everything while being able to aoe others.

I guess if staticshot isn't too bad, it should be doable with that, but it's really hard to do the quest as an Archer without some serious DC it seems.

I'm still stuck at the guy in penal col as he isn't telling me the next part of the quest, I'm 35+ so it's not that my level is to low.
have I missed something out?

Think it's bugged as you go book shop get the quest, go to weapon shop and complete quest but you don't attully get another quest, he just tells u to go to Kelvin, who tells you to come back when ur more powerful
