So was thinking.

Lots of people are trying to sell boosts.

If I implemented a potion that you can Buy from GameShop (100GG) or craft-able for 100k + Benediction Oil.

You need to be level 40+ to use this potion, Using the potion would remove 2mil Experience and create a new potion that can be traded.

This new potion can only be used by players below level 40 and will grant them 1 mil experience.

It's just a shower thought and wondering if there'd be any interest. feel free to point out any flaws or concerns with this idea, it won't be implemented unless a majority of people want this.

If you paid somebody to level your character you can only be levelled by one person and if you bought bottled experience you could theoretically have 100 people levelling you.

A slightly over the top example but would you not end up with some rich bugger being level 50 by next week?

The player losing the exp has to be level 40+, the player gaining the exp has to be below level 40, so it wouldn't really change anything apart from getting to level 40 a little quicker.

It would be another gold income option, but it would also be useful if people wanted to re roll.

I wouldn't complain if it was added, i wouldn't use it but i don't see a problem with it.

To be fair ots a great idea BUT the question is :- once youve the 40+ made the potion will it be tradeable only?(not able to be sold) or will be able to sell TM? Also account wide only?

So the 40+ player would loose 2mil exp and the player who buys the potion under leve 40 will gain 1mil exp? Sounds good but it depends on the ingame gold price of the "bottled exp" if the gold price is to high then the players under 40 may not be able to purchase this "bottle exp" anyway.... so it'll work for the rich/geeks just wanting to boost a new toon but the casual player still has no chance...

I think it's a decent idea.
The level's after 40 are insane experience for anyone to get 50 any time soon.

I dont think many people would bother to be honest.

If it had no craft price it would be huge but you can buy boosts for far less than 200k+ per mill exp.

I appreciate that no craft price would render the GG version obsolete so how about the GG version only costs 1.5m exp from the crafter.

Up to 40 would be ok, but i think alot of the experience of mir is hitting that desired level, on this server 40. Levelling spells etc learning what drops where etc. If your going to implement it dont make it so cheap that it defeats the point of playing from 0-40.

Definitely would aid re-rollers.

I don't see harm it'd be saturated very-quickly once everybody has a lvl 40 tao, war, sin and wizard on one account due to mass killing on a wiz to level their alts.

It will allow people to enjoy all classes end-game-ish.

Would exp buffs increase the 1mill exp gained by the user? IE the alt character 50% buff, actually give them 1.5m exp, plus any GG shop buffs?

Just put bottles exp in the GG shop upto 40, and make it a craftable thing for 40+, that way the noobs that want to buy GG bottled stuff can, and the 40+s have something to do also

How about any potions that have been created using your method Jamie are account tied and can only be used by your alts. So cant be sold, cant be traded, cant be dropped.

Oh I see. Missed that one.

Still not the biggest fan of the idea however.

Because most people enjoy the competitive pvp/boss aspect of the game, where the respectable adults have less time to game than they did when mir was first released they would prefer fill that gaming time with the fun parts of the game rather than the tedious parts (grinding levels) or trying to compete with a wooden sword.
These people buy their way to competitive play.

The people that have both time and money are the problem, these people do not enjoy competitive play but domineering play. The kind of people that have someone naked and gagged in their basements. These people are the problem always raising the "competitive bar" so that other more casual players have to spend more to stay in the pocket of the game they enjoy.

i have a job/family ect and i level ok, i haven't even got the paid exp buffs what others have.
Mir is a grind game, always has been, and the server is a low rate .. if you don't want to grind levels, the server/game isn't for you. But i agree that people buying ingame items for real cash is a problem. And when you say people who play 24/7 excel at mir, well that's true on every single game out there.
