With 84SC my Poison cloud just hit for 118. Lmfao

This is going to be hilarious.

Post a screenshot

With my level 0 i just hit 85 but hey thats a load of bullshit so i cant post a screenshot...
Its good that they can have feedback per level but from what your saying is that your PC which isnt level 3 is hitting higher than the PC which is level 3

Just post Screenshot Spock. I've tested with 82 SC and never even seen 70 dmg.....

P.S. I hit players and PB mobs for testing (not Yob/Oma/HookingCat/Deer/Hen)

k so quick testing on gm:
sc18-79 luck +8 (luck makes it easyer to see the top dmg )

on a non defense mob poisonfield would do arround 90 dmg a hit? swordoma arround 70 since wildgirl absolutely cant do dmg -20 himself to account for the amc that mob has

now on swordoma if you cast poisoncloud: it brings the oma down to near no hp (poison cant kill mobs), that's 1100 dmg if your poisoncloud does full length dmg :p

from what i can tell that makes poisoncloud about equal to firewall in terms of dmg, think firewall lasts longer tho
however: poisoncloud does have the extra green poison effect which helps loads :p

Seems a little OP if I'm honest.

No one knows how it was on euro because it was never officially introduced tested or balanced for release. The files and GM codes were leaked as you know. So, no one knows how it should be. I have played servers where poison cloud has been devastingly effective, but other class skill were as damaging. Its a decision this team will take to keep this server balanced. The only official server that had it was USA and that was messed up.

I am not sure exactly where to take PoisonCloud...

Atm its damage is completely based on your SC and its duration is based on skill level (similar to FW). I think wizards will disagree with a tao having a FW type skill that poisons, but at the same time it only last between 6-12seconds and has a massive cooldown.

What are everyones opinions?

As a tao, im going to be honest. I think its Overpowered.

My damage is scatty as hell but my SC does have a high range, i have peaked at over 100 but often get damage of around 13 at the same time. This i think is good as its unpredictable damage. Problem i feel with it though is, i honestly dont think us taos should get a AOE Damage skill. It just feels... overpowered.

I would almost be tempted to go the route of what 2.3 Files etc had it like. As an AOE Green poison that increased in area the higher level it was, that way the damage on it would be based off your SC ad its your normal green poison. Perhaps reducing the cooldown per level? Down to level 3 of having a 3 second cooldown or something?

Same sort aof area as IceStorm seems as a fair size aswell.

I know people will say im wrong and Q_Q taos need a AOE skill etc. But we are fundamentally a support class. Giving us this sort of damage seems just stupid.

It is not overpowered. Cool-down is 15 sec no matter what lvl skill.

I see a "tao" on this thread claiming hes doing over 100 dmg with PC.
Where are the screenshots ? I was lvling for several hours yesterday and haven't seen anything above 70 dmg.

Speaking of damage, for me with a max of 70 sc while hunting the PC dmg is between 1 and 70. That's AOE 3x3 dmg area. You can't compare it with FW for the simple reason: fw will never be only 3x3 every 15 sec.

I am looking forward to the rest of taoist skills aka: EnergyShield, Plague tbh.

This version of PC is far from the USA one but still decent and acceptable due to FF, tdb tweaks on this server.

And if you cry over PC wait until Plague is out.

Damage wise it seems fine (From being hit by it)

The poison effect more than makes up for the lack of initial damage that people are talking about.

Perhaps a CD reduction per level is in order

0 - 15seconds
1 - 13seconds
2 - 11seconds
3 - 9seconds

If u was playing early days of Dragon Server you would know how this class was without the skills "PoisonCloud/EnergyShield/Plague". A walking potion it was called. I think you still consider yourself to be that.

Seemed perfectly fine to me on Euro.
