Hi,

I've recently tried Zircon, to be honest, I had really high hopes for this server. I'd love to try the mid-range content as people currently are but the grind to get there is too much.

The first part of the server progression is so depressing and no one seems to want to help, I'd strongly recommend implementing a noob guild that all new members join as soon as they create a character just as chronicles did to keep new players engaged with chat and help should they need it.

I'd also speed up the grind, that needs addressing as not everyone wants to kill wolves/yetis for hours.

Just thought I'd leave some quick feedback as feedback always helps everyone.

Cheers

Welcome to Zircon :)

As always the Mir grind pre mid teens is incredibly difficult, however its worth holding in there as it gets a lot easier!

If you're needing some help in game / boosting a few levels send me a PM here and I'll take you leveling a bit.

I don't get why all these threads are popping up, i'm loving my experience it feels super easy to level compared to a Mir2 low rate, like jheeze quite a few people are 45+ within 10 days of opening, i started 4 days late and i'm 37 already not even going hardcore and 90% of that has been solo.

I haven't really nothing to go off about the rates of Mir3 but Ignis when i was about 14 year olds so i don't remember great but it feels pretty fast to me.

0-20 could use some love for the guys who can’t afford full GG buffs to own everything in the first town.

If you can afford buffs you will be 20 in a couple hours lol if not I feel for you.

I genuinely feel like the starting area has been overlooked and underworked. This is the point where you're supposed to entice your audience and it's just not enticing for me, the grind is too real too soon.

You know i was thinking this earlier and maybe jamie could add something like new account's get 5 hours worth of a few buffs to get them around the start area untill they can farm up some Hunt gold for 100GG temp pots.

Yeah one of the reason I stopped playing was because there is too much emphasis on paying for buffs. If you don't buy them, then you will be grinding up to lvl 20 for days.

This has always been the case until the 30's when you get a few different spells, and i never really understood why servers keep it like it is. I havent tried Zircon this is more just a general observation, but i gather from the feedback it is no different to normal, killing deer/scarecrows etc... Auto attacking for the first coupple of hours. It's really not fun.

Streamlining the first 20-25~ levels wont hurt a servers progression in any way, the current default path just makes the start tedious for everyone, every time.

Couldn't agree more with this, I'm sure its very easy to code to have characters under level XXX receive a buff that gives them +100% EXP (no buff for gold or drops though) this way you're not stuck early game.

Just an observation but I found I died, a lot as a low level Assassin (levels 1-11) mainly because of low HP/defense and the spawn rates being utterly insane. I would say that the spawn rates were ok but the EXP needs tweaking so that you're not stuck at it for hours and hours.

If you're still struggling I don't mind taking you to somewhere without ranged monsters for an hour get you through the difficult slow start.

As an entirely solo player so far and not having played the beta nor Mir3 ever before, the first levels are a proper unfun slog. Finally going to have time after being away for the Christmas period and just getting back form holiday to actually play, a bit of help early on would be great if anyone's offering.

What time will you be in game?

Well for a start, you can go afk just out side of the safezone, and every 30 mins kill 30 mobs = 30 hunt gold!
eventually you can get whatever buffs you want. You can obviously get them quicker by buying them with cash.

However I have managed to re-roll to a warrior and get to 31 pretty quickly, following the quest chains isnt the fastest way to level, its going to caves that you can farm quick enough in without using 10 pots per mob.

I really enjoy low level hunting cause it's a brand new start. I would say follow the quests at first, the quest exp reward helps to level faster. I would recommend adding more low level quests. It's easier to follow the quest in the beginning and use the quest to start leveling. More quests have to be added. Not necessarily a story, just some simple kill mob tasks with exp rewards. The rewards I recommend to be generous with exp

Pretty sure Jamie confirmed that more quests are to be added at a later date.

Would be nice to see if they add the Fame Points / similar system with daily / weekly quests, always enjoyed that about Mir 3 as gave you a bit of direction / something different to do other than grinding the same dungeon over and over.

Would allow the titles you could purchase in frost village as well.
