You could, but stephen > you.I could just code it, would be more efficient than running scripts on every death.
You could, but stephen > you.I could just code it, would be more efficient than running scripts on every death.
1. Capturable Cave's
* All you have to do to sway the cave towards your clan is hunt their.
* Once the cave counter reaches the middle ground (Both clans have hunted their equally as much) a teritory war is triggered in that cave for an hour.
* During this hour the cave is converted to a War Zone and members of the two clans are placed on opposing sides upon entering the cave.
* At the end of the hour the clan that has killed the most monsters takes control of the cave, so kill of your opposition and take as many mobs as posible for your clan!
* The clan that own's the cave gets an experiance boost when hunting their.
2. Caturable towns:
* Towns are converted to a specific clan based on how many caves that the clan owns in that province.
* The clan that owns the most caves in the provice, owns the town.
* Members of the clan in control of the town get a discount on pots and candle/amulets etc in that town. (Might need some coded features)
* Each town also provides a unique boost for clan members of the controlling clan.
3. Massive Chain Quests:
* Each clan has their own set of quests that continue throughout the whole level spectrum.
* Rewards from these quests range from Boosts, Exp, gold and secial(special) ? :P Clan based rewards (Discussed below)
4. Coded Udates (Hopefully Matt will be kind enough to code a few of these ideas for me):
* Honour...
o New stat like HP/MP, called Honour. Honour is used for certain spells that are gained through the chain quests.
o Players will start with Honour such as: 20/20 Honour, each spells will use large amounts of Honour per use, maybe 5-10ish (Spells will be big finishing move type spells (Maybe not as effective on players as they are mobs))
o Honour, will not be replenishable by pots, but by hunting caves where you clan is not in control.
o Max Honour can be increased via quest rewards.
o Honour will be dislayed on the interface in the same way HP/MP is.
* Clan level...
o Clan level is increased by obtaining EXP from hunting caves (Not sure wether to do Clan owned or Non-Clan owned caves yet)
o Once enough EXP is acquired then a Clan Level Quest can be taken to increase your level.
o The higher your clan level the higher your Honour Spell damage will be.

Bug Cave:
Hope that makes it a bit easier to understand :P The players don't really need to know the workings behind it tbh, all they need to know is the more mobs they kill, the more change they have of taking the cave, or if they already own it the more chance they have of keeping it.
- When the server first starts the caves are divided equally between the two clans, so lets say Heian owns BC when the server goes live.
- BC has a Clan Counter Range of 0-4000 (Middle point being 2000)
- As Heian own the cave, the couter is set to 3000 at the start of the live server (Quarterly point of the Heian side of the Counter Range)
- Drac members start hunting there and start to take -1 off the Counter every mob they kill.
- While Heian members add to the counter every mob they kill.
- So Drac members would have to get into BC and kill mobs until they manage to get the counter down to the mid point (2000), while Heian members will want to try and increase they're hold over the cave and get the counter up to their end (4000).
- If Drac manage to get the counter to the middle point (2000) a war is started for one hour.
- During this hour the objective is to kill as may mobs as you can and prevent the other side from killing mobs.
- The counter still works the same as before, so +1 for Heian, -1 for Drac.
- At the end of the war, which ever side of the Middle point the counter is on (0-1999 for Drac, 2001-4000 for Heian) wins the war, and the counter is set the the quaterly point for whichever side won (1000 for Drac, 3000 for Heian).
- The cycle starts over again...
Yea thinking about it it'll be far to exploitable, as people could have characters in both clans, log on your noob thats in opposing clan and just let your main chars clan kill you over and over.
Might have to rethink, i'll take a look at the Battle Zone scripts
p
was never up in 1st placejust a wonder any one no when its coming bk up ????
Development has pretty much stopped. Lind is now a freelance web developer. He passed the files on to us, but the current FH server comes first.anymore news about the server?
