File help please 3G 3.55

Ok im a complete noob when it comes to mir3 files

what i whould like to know is (for the 3G 3.55 files)

A. what programs i need for opening the item db (And drop files) / monster db (Monster maker) / and map (Map maker)

B. where to get the programs and the Datebase for Items monsters and maps
and basics of how to use them

what i wish to do is simple make some new maps (probly 20-30 use to make alot of these when it was mir2)

Make alot of new items lvl range from 20-125 and change some of the old items

change all the stats on current monsters in db and add some extras to it

work on the drops of the old and new items that i make

Once i have done this I will gladly share these with anyone who whould like them



the items i will make will be middle rates as in item stats the exp rate i whould recomend for this is 4-16x exp

Wizard lvl20+ set

Warlock robe lvl24 Ac 1-8 ma 2-10 mc 0-3
warlock ring lvl22 Ma 0-2 mc 0-5
Warlock bracelet lvl26 mc 0-3 ac 0-2
warlock necklace lvl23 Mc 1-4 Magic eva 10%
Warlock helmet lvl25 ac 0-2 ma 1-3 mc 0-1
Warlock sword lvl28 Mc 2-10 fire attack 3

these stats are not finalized
i was just thinking around this as if its a middle rate server at lvl28 a mage will have 33 top end mc

and i wish to upgrade bosses stats so that plays will have to grp for some bosses

items database is found in your sql server in crueldragon STD_ITEMS you add//change stats create new items in there .
mob drop files are in the envir folder \ mon items folder you edit this using notepad or notepad++simply add the name of the item exactly as it is spelt in you sql set how often u want it to drop and so on
the best map maker/editor i find is the one Coly made search Colymapeditor on forums to find it

basically anything to do with mobs ie: when were they spawn and what they drop all npc's // quests // map info is all located in the mud3\envir folder

anything you want to change in game such as items // accounts // editing ppls chars like rebirths even name changes are all done through your SQL server

Mir3 Setup guide There is also enough information on the forum if you search for it with regards to setting up the files and anything else that you may require, also as a new person to Mir3 I would suggest that you go through the files you have and have a look at how they fit together and any questions you need to ask, make sure you search for the answer first. As people here do tend to get rather annoyed at answering the same questions over and over again.
