They made a mistake announcing an exact date. From the history of this forum you should never trust a set release date.
I doubt you'll get any sort of definate answer to your question. Welcome to LOMCN.

Sorry but saying "Welcome to LOMCN" and clearly stating its a place where people get nothing and releases are prolonged or dropepd just pissed me off. Look into it, Releases have never just been dropped completely unjustified. The reason to some releases not coming out are either due to not enough time to continue or bigger and better (generally cleaner) sources to work on.
I can't say that i've done much to contribute here myself but i know how hard things can be to get done on time and when you estimated. End of the day its not like the source isn't out there for others to continue and like most of the teams nowadays, attributes like coding and designing has been self taught...
These people wanting the binaries ASAP are willing to learn how to run a server / script / make maps and learn database entries BUT not willing to do the hard work like getting a set of files out ready to use (translation aint that hard , anyone could do it ...aswell as graphic design and i've seen plenty on here that have started from nothing and are now pro coders)
SO, in conclusion either learn how to do it yourself OR wait and stop making pointless posts like this, causing me to get bad rep points due to my disgusting language.

there's soooo much work on Chinese Source's/Files/Images/Code ...and to think this will all be sorted and released in such short time...its madness
but hey... that's my opinion
its not like i dont have a source with my team ..
Patients will be needed with Ace Team..
they are doing a smashing job and have come very far with what they have made and in the advancements they have created to Mir itself.. its Genius.
im pretty sure it will be released when the team feel the files are ready to release to the public with no problems

This leads to 1000s of posts questioning when and often leads to flame wars.
But maybe this is what LOMCN needs to stay relevant. Continous toxic posts to keep the forum active.
I don't hold out much faith in the Ace files however. Since the pattern of file releases follow a similar fate.
The amount working on the files is so limited that when they get bored or find something else they move on.
2.3/Ruby/Heroes - unfinished and limited in scope.
Its a sad truth, but I appreciate anything that is released and shared.
If I had the time, the knowledge or the patience I would do more to bring life into a dying community. But i don't.

Breezer and Myth, chill the f**k out.... seriously, the guys's right... when they set a date they should keep their promises. And yes I agree they should take their time to furfill the files till they're complete and working like they should BUT when they set a date to release they should keep their promises. End of it.
In all fairness an ETA is just an "estimate" as it does state.
They were only ever going to release the files on Saturday if the full team were happy that the files were up to scratch.
If the files get released now and they find bugs, guaranteed 75% of you will be complaining of 101 bugs here there & everywhere.

Not to piss on any bodys parade but they did say on or around the 11th may.
as with all release dates they are sceptical as delays crop up, bugs need fixing, teams aim for near bugless release ect ect no release is smooth look at other games for example the new gta (which has been delayed twice allready)
rather than twiddle your thumbs and spam the forums why not just relax enjoy what we have atm and treasure the fact that these devs are working hard for u and the rest of the mir community after all they could of said they wasent releasing or released a half translated buggy as hell m2server/client just like the old 1.4 days

With such a big hype on these files people are just asking when there going to be released a simple answer is all that's required to keep most of us quiet, no one is demanding anything or saying they don't appreciate the work going into the files, seriously get off you high horse and calm down, mojority of us can't code but maybe we could contribute to the envir or photoshop edit/translations etc
They are not legally obligated to release on the date mentioned.... Can't see why people feel its a given right they are allowed these files on the date mentioned.
