File Release

They are not legally obligated to release on the date mentioned.... Can't see why people feel its a given right they are allowed these files on the date mentioned.

Im sure anybody here who can actually make a decent server would much prefer to wait 2-3 more week.Who wants a set of files where work on them and are constantly updating every other day with bug fixes?? Everything hits complications, and people (believe it or not, and as mentioned loads of times) have lives!

In my honest opinion i can see them doing what TD did with his 2.3 files. Even though i appreciate what these people do for the Mir Community

With such a big hype on these files people are just asking when there going to be released a simple answer is all that's required to keep most of us quiet, no one is demanding anything or saying they don't appreciate the work going into the files, seriously get off you high horse and calm down, mojority of us can't code but maybe we could contribute to the envir or photoshop edit/translations etc

I don't think it's as much a right that they get them, just sort of a let-down when it doesn't happen - the easiest way to avoid this is to either not give a date or give a vague date. It's nice when people keep their set dates (like Sijo's recent beta) but I'm sure people understand the work that is put into these projects and that it's not the end of the world when release dates aren't kept.

Sorry but I'm going to close this thread now as it's turning into another classic LOMCN flamefest.
