Did you even see the challenge properly? Using the word filth is stupid...

You'll see far worse tackles every week, this one was just unlucky and could tell there was no maliciousness (word?) from Taylor.

Slow down, I didnt state that the callenge was filth, I was refering to the state of his leg.

Colonel has an overly proportioned body (especially moobs) in reference to his head.

P.S. 8-12 weeks? are you a moron or something, he might be able to walk on it in 8-12 weeks, but playing football is a different story Mr. BigHardRugbyPersonGuyManFat****.

Alot of players have ended their careers due to injuries such as this, apparently they nearly had to amputate his foot, according to my sources.

Colonels sources are youtube and ketchup, lots of ketchup and a stack of greasy, morbidly fattening chips.

Yea, because a 5 year old girl will break her ankle like that (Was said o nthe news he broke his shin, and ankle), recover ina few months, beb aack to running an full pace, and kicking a ball with it, full power.

SSN saying he could beb ack in 9 months, but he will be protected for a couple weeks/month after that.

I'm sure they have oO, I mean 5 year olds die you know...So I'm sure a broken bone like that would of happened somewhere. My point is though, all these footballers who get injured take a retarded amount of time to "Recover".

It probably takes less time for them to recover to the stage where they could jsut walk around mate, but remember the amount of strain they have on their joints playing day in day out at such a high level at such high velocity...its gonna take longer to get back to that stage...even if it feels fine it could still be weak, better safe than sorry and making sure it has definately healed by waiting a year rather than coming back prematurely and ruining your career.

Also, wouldn't something about younger peoples bones still "growing" mean a child would have a faster recovery rate as well?

Yeah it would. Footballers tend to recover to walking stages faster as they can afford top end treatment, but as futura said, when training everyday and playing a match or 2 every week, you need to be certain you are fully recovered.

Injuries flare back up, end of.

Look at Michael Owen, although that's not a good example because he's basically a puff. Yeah, the work rate they have to undergo... well... let's call it pretty intense. I personally reckon most of these injuries come from overworking the body (overload), seen the size of the muscles in their legs; chances are that increases the rate of tears and strains because of the pressure put on ligaments etc.

A-Level Physical Education ftw :P
