Ive just downloaded FF7 and a screen comes up to select Continue game or new game i select New Game and after that the screen stays black nowt comes up , ive waited for about 10-20 mins and nowt happens , any ideas ... :wtf:

your disks could be scratched? i am FF7 god, i did EVERYTHING, all materia, ultimate weapons, lvl 99, prawned ruby weapon, emerald is my last challenge before i am officially a god level player of this game. Best game i ever played in my life...

pfft your rubbish, i beat sephiroth and emerald weap and im only lvl 71 :P which is the highest i got..

ruby floors me damn good quick tho ....

btw he d/l'ed it and its not a disk on his ps1/2

also, to the poster dude, buy the game if you got a ps1/2? only bout 4.99 now...

2. Right click the exe for FFVII and go to >>compatability --> run this program in compatability with windows 95.

The official version should work with windows xp, (with or without the patch-mine does). Have you got directshow drivers installed? there required to view fmvs in the game, with out that installed ur gonna get a nice black screen when u click new game :P

FF7 famous because of the story line is very good. FF8 is quite confusing.

they aint brining ff7 out done up, theyr just bringing a ff7 movie out :D, ff7:adventchildren

I got it working lol , since it was a DOS game i downloaded, i needed to install a file to system32 and it allowed me to play DOS games , i downloaded the file from somewhere i think it was Mamumacha thanks m8. :)
