Final Fantasy VIII

I finally managed to get a copy of FFVIII yesterday when I went shoppin. I was actually looking for 7 but they only had 8, and just 1 copy so i nabbed it :P

Is this the good 1? Or is 9 the good 1? I think I remember ppl saying 9 wasn't as good. Anyway I'm now a SeeD (whatever that is o_O) and I just arrived in the second Garden, i forget the name >.< it beings with G.

I've got used to the crap graphics (after X + X-2) :P, and the crap running movements lol, but the no voices is a bit pants, theres no voice actors =/

Neways, the Garden is called Galbadia

Yeah it isnt bad though, the big field bits look really crap tho lol.

its completely diff 2 10+ though. guns and cars etc. I take it GF's are just aeons?

Yeah, but the GFs have a sorta countdown bar then release an attack. With Aeons you can choose wht they do.

I am still playing X-2 but i dont think its all that. I have FF1-6 but they are good for their time.

I only have VIII,X and X-2, VII is next after ive done 8.

But whats the next FF gonna be called for ps2? 11 + 12 are taken.
i dnt believe it i just got the Brothers and i fkin opened the magic botel in my items i didnt no what it was...now i do, some big o'l boss that i cant kill so i gotta do it all again tomorrow!

Draw and cast Demi on it. Easiest thing relli and use Limits. Also u definately wanna kill it.

U on about the boss? so u no wot im on about then :P well too late it whooped me and i didnt save, i was in the Temple of the Unknown King i think its called. But the actual mission was to find a code, but where the hell is that!!!

Bad Points
Not much to do if u get what i mean,
I completed ff7 first time within 48 ours, next was 16hours. basicly refers to my 1st bad point.

FF8;
Good Points kinda my all time favourite, love the status page, before i left Galbadia i knocked off 1000hp, an had 2400hp to Squal made it alot harder for me as the Mobs level with you was very fun an quite hard
OmegaWeapon, Took me many many many many hours to defeat and to make my own strategy without the HolyHero(Missed the card>.<)
Card Game, best ever upto now even better then FF9)

Bad Points;
Not many bosses, not very Final Fantasy like if u get what i mean ff9/10/10-2 an 7 were quite emotional 8 didnt even make me blink.
UltimaWeapon, could take this guy out at lvl 1.
Crap Ending but meh could of been better.

Man this game was LONG!.
Liked the Status pages an skills but not as good as FF9,
Card game wasnt that good but was still fun to do.
Chocobos was a fun game were u had to gues the location took me months to do em all an was certainly worth it.

Bad Point;
well didnt finish this game as it got boring managed to get to the Mushroom Cloud oh whatever u call it on the start of Disc 4.

Amazing an i repeat Amazing graphics
Very Emotional ending almost made me cry.
Great StoryLone an great ending
the music in this game was so great
Aeons was a great way to do summoning an hope they keep it this way as its miles better then ff7 way of summoning.

Bad points
Character Speeches was a bad way for ff10, i profared them just writing
NO cardgame wasnt anything to do in spare time apart from leveling an collect Aeons
Chocobos werent exactly a good thing in this game shud have put summit good with it like ff7 oh ff9

Great StoryLine an great characters loved the dresspheresss levelin was quite fun with the dresshphere, same with the aeons were u had to defeate em was sad to see u kill ur trusted aeons but had to be done to progress to the end of the game
end boss was fun an very hard until u get to the tidus lookin kid
was funny an very emotional as i was allways like is Yuna gonna find Tidus oh is she going to be alone like the end of ff10

Bad Points
Hmm only bad point ere is the end boss(very end boss) i had 9k hp an he had 30k he knocked off around 250hp each hit i was like WHAT!!! i cud of had a cup of tea an a **** while he was still knocking jack of me, killed the dude in a matter of hits.
what this game needed was a spaceship like the ragnarok on ff7/8 were u can actualy fly it an not get it to do Auto-Pilot as it was already.


All Final Fantasies are my life say whatever u like about that, their great games im deing to play FinalFantasy Online wen its here in Europe an also Final Fantasy 12 wen its released sometime this year.

I though 10 and 10-2 were great too, but why didnt u like the speech? I think its much better than having to read it all, and it's much easier on your eyes ><.

Im about to do the assassination mission for the General but i cant find the clock tower =/

I just read the walkthrough and it says this...it doesnt make sense =/

Then, you'll allow to enter the mansion and you'll meet Colonel Carlway. He'll take all of us except Rinoa to see the area for the plan to kill Edea. Nw, back to the mansion and you'll meet Rinoa. After that, follow everyone to the main gate, talk to every one and follow Carlway. Then, you must control Quistis go back to mansion. And they'll be place under house arrest. Now, you'll be able to control Rinoa. Just simply climb up huge crates until reach the Top. Inside, you'll meet Edea. Edea'll control Rinoa with her powers and summon the dragon figure to attack Rinoa. Now, you'll back to control Quistis. Pick the glass that on the shelf near the door and go to the right, you'll see the one figure. Place the glass on the hand of figure. You'll see the hidden way, Enter it!

For a start his name is GENERAL CARAWAY lol. I've been with him to the plan area, then he told me i had free time to look around so i did. Then i went back to the mansion and told him i was ready, and i had control of Quistis, nothing to do with Rinoa =/

Sorry to double post but....

Bollocks i need help i think ive gon wrong

I'll start off where i think ive gone wrong.
After I found the code and first got into Caraways mansion, he tells u some stuff right, then you (Squall + another 2) go down with him to hear the plan out and he explains it all, then he says you have some free time, go take a look arund the town if u want.

So I did and bought some potions, then i went back to the mansion and u decide the teams, sniper team and the gate team. After that Squall + Irvine leave the mansion, so does Caraway, n u have control of Quistis. no1 in the room but Quistis, Zel and Selphie right?

So then u head for the door and Rinoa comes flyin thru the door with the bangle thingy, then Quistis Zell + Selphie leave for the mission, and Rinoa just sits on teh floor.

Then you have control of Squall again, just outside the mansion, what the fk d i do now? Aparantly i was supposed to have control of Rinoa or Quistis somewhere else b4??!?!?

i dunno but i cant get anywhere atm with Squall and Irvine cuz i cnt find the friggen secret hatch!!!

Help plz =/

take squall to teh palace and it shoudl begin the mission training.

quistis and zell should then run back to mansion and get locked in forcing u to find the secret way out.

(take the glass put in statue)

Oh yeah i got that, its coz i didnt see Gen. Carawar under the bridge ¬_¬

Anyway, disc 2 already, im in prison ive got the weapons back n just sorted out Biggs and the other guy
I guess i need to find Squall =/

I've found out that Garden...flies o_O this game is freaky. Now i just found Ellone in the library o_O and found out she is why Squall + co. slip into the dream world.
