Final Fantasy VIII?

hiya peeps, just thought id let you know that in the not to distant future there will be a new server going up, i think its name will be Final Fantasy VIII (Amz will confirm this) the server is still in early developements but hopefully it wont take to long and it should be a good server ^_^

yea it is a different server, the old one owned but hoperfully we can make this one as good if not better. also im not sure on exp and that atm as im doing items etc and being host but ill ask Amz /Zell

sorry for late reply not been on for a while been abit busy, the name will be FinalFantasyVIII, the start lvl will be around 33 and the stats wont be uber high but good enough, itemz will be fairly rare so you have to work for them and money wont be that easy to get, i have a freind making a quest its the same one as on the old ff where you talk to mobs that are the names of gf and defeat them so you get a ticket and then move on to the next mob like gf until youget a finalk ticket which takes you to a uber high exp pen for like 10-20mins. Sabuk wall owners will have a direct teleport to the ship map renamed to ragnarok where you can get new items for higher lvls and hunt boss mobs. Basically all the itemz will be renamed and restated to be abit better and on a ff theme and i am working on getting hold of some new itemz.

No gms needed atm but i may need a map maker but not confirmed yet.

Sounds like a good server , hope to see it up one day start lvl 33 , sounds a bit ghey though , it will feel like TO ME ANYWAY that all the leveling is done for you , i like to lvl from lvl 1 imo :P

i find that if the start lvl is lvl 1 you have to get the exp right with an amount of accuracy other wise you either kill one hen and lvl to like lvl 8 lol or you dont lvl from a hen and then it takes like a week to get to lvl 25 which gets kinda annoying, i think lvl 30-33 is about right. i will keep you informed if i can lol or zell will.

They said earlier in the thread that it didn't have anything to do with the old FinalFantasy server...

Anyway, I have played start level 33 servers previously (Old FinalFantasy for example) and aslong as the exp is quite low, then it makes a good server. Good luck with it and look forward to seeing it develop.

i may need someone who can do npc's but not sure yet i am working on exp and drop files i am thinking of a item say as a good as a para ring to be like 1/15 on boss mobs or is that to easy to get?
