September 16th Final Fantasy XI is released in Europe. The site is www.playonline.com . This game looks ruddy awsome, and fromthe comments made from people i know who play the game... it is. Bad news is that we will be playing with the Americans and Japanese who have been playing for much longer, meaning we will be all the noobs while they are all a respectible level. Either way, i just cant wait :D

I played the american servers for a month, its an excellent game but it require a lot of your time, for example to travel to the city closest to you can take 2 hours real time, graphics are awesome and there is lots to do. But very time consuming, i would still be playing if i had enough time and didnt roll my computer chair over the play online client CD :/

i'm a 53WHM/26SMN on Bahamut Server called Helpoemer, and as far as i recall the release date in the news section of Play Online for Euro FFXI said it's 21st of sept, but it could've changed *shrug*
for those of u who don't know, Euro FFXI will be the normal FFXI client with the old expansion and the new expansion which is coming out at the same time for US/JPN players as the euro FFXI release.

Yep I play FFXI atm and it can take me anything up to 1-2 hours to actually run to my levelling area . It's a great game but as said above it does require ALOT of your time and tha kinda puts me off it because I don't like spending alot of time on games.

but doesn't that show the quality of the game..If you are paying that amount of money i guess you expect it to be a great game

also if you can't afford it you can always play lineage 2 private servers ;)

Thats in $ tho i remember when i played witht he current exchanged rate it cheaper playing FFXI for a month than it was to play euro mir.

And $50+ for the game dunno where you got that from but i paid something like £32 for it from a canadian site and they imported it for me.
