final fantasy xi online

I bought it, played for a bit but...I don't know. It seemed too big :S I gave up and went back to nice small Mir but now I am just concentrating on WoooL. Got my server online last night 
Will put a test up later with a connection guide on Firebox.
Anyway, back to FFXI. I suppose if you had a group of about 5 or so people who you were good mates with it would be good. But when no-one I know plays it, it's hard. Graphics are nice and all the concepts are very nice. Would keep someone occupied for years I imagine.

Dont like it becuase of the costs and **** involved, theyre astronomical. From what i heard, if u cancel ur subscription u lose ur characters, u have to pay extra to have more than one character, and **** like that, add on the monthly useage fee, and the £35 odd to buy the game and u have one money sucking peice of ****.
Well done sqauresoft, FinalFantasyXI finally destroyed my love of the FF series, especially with the peices of **** u released after FF7.

note: FFX and X-2 were ok, but i didnt play em that often, get back to the decent **** with materia, weapon, and **** liek that.

Then an additional $1 per month for every other char. If you dont pay for 3 months they delete your char. So just cancel it and when the 3 months deadline comes up you probably will want to play it again.

imho the game its self is good and well worth the cash if it did not have 2 major flaws 1) game is totally based on partying you can only go upto like level 12ish with okish leveling if your not in a party then aster that you have to get into partys and go into hard areas to get decent exp the second is the death pentie if you die = MAJOR loss of exp you could spend like 4hr's+ leveling then die and lose all the exp you gaind and then some and sometimes evean level down wich is kindof a big piss off there are other small things that kinda make some things ingame pointless e.g a potion that heals 50 hp = 5k gill like what the hell is the point of them costing that much gil to heal that little hp? by the time you can afford like 10 you would need like 50 to heal ya hp to full pointless i tell ya >.>

he said $12 u noobs lol its around £7.50 a month cause thats all that came up on my bill ok so stop complaining and its 15 quid in game so stop complaining about the price u cheap assed nooblet lol u just wanted a reason to complain :P o and i have already posted about this and i have stated the prices and posted some screenys look it up final fantasy 11 have a nice day.

herd some good thinga about the game from some friends but reading what some posted i would say its not really a good choice. i wouldnt buy it but its your money you do as you wish.
