flag questions

im currently trying to learn how to use flags and i think i got the jist of it but i got a few questions if ne1 can help me.

1.is there any specific flag numbers that do certian things(ie [001] 1 does the flame effect).
2. how high of a number can flags go up to.


sorry for the noob questions but i figured id learn flags as it keeps things alot cleaner then having addnamelist txt files all over the place.

I always start from SET [999] and work downwards, i`ve always found this best, you`ll never use 999 flags.

No flag has a specific meaning, there just used like text documents so that you can block people from doing certain things again or so you can set a flag so that they can progress forward on quests, you can only use each flag once.

Any more probs just let me know mate. Just have a go mate and you will see how easy they are to use.
