Er....not sure on here.
But officially you dash a short distance (Not sure whether it's towards cursor or the characters facing direction, like ShoulderDash), the very next mob (Maybe Player as well) you encounter within the dash distance (Something like 1-3 steps) will be attacked and effected with a short stun/tdb like effect

It did dash you forward.it certainly didn't dash you forward... Lol
Officially it was a single hit skill (interrupts double slash) that causes a stun effect... Which is exactly what it does on here... And Heroes... And Ruby...

By dash do you mean it walks you to your target?
Sam
FlashDash, Attacks target directly infront of you applying TDB, cannot remember if it was AC or MAC attack.
At level 2+ (Might Have been Level 1+) You would MOVE one space forward if there is a space and THEN do the attack. The movement was exactly like ShouldDash (1 Space)

Cheers for the info, so it would push the mob back 1 to? I'm confused as to the point of the step? As you need a target anyway to use the skill so clicking the target would move you forward anyways?
Sam
The dash was a quick 1 step movement with the running animation.By dash do you mean it walks you to your target?

Think of a 1 step shoulder dash, but obviously if there was summin in the way ud just cast flash dash as the maybe stun effect skill

I did pm you Sam to show you how the skills work but got ignored..
more concerning is that its Jan 11th and an assassin skill (assassins were in V1 btw) the DEV has just learnt what its supposed to do 6months later.
Am i the only one reading this and laughing? lol

Seems you are...
Unfortunately the majority of the development team didn't play USA and therefore can only use www.mir2resource.info/video footage and on none of these is it obvious that there is a 1 step dash.
As for the dash, it won't be added to Chronicles, it makes no difference on here as it is not an executable skill, its a pre-load and release.
To answer the initial question, of what it does on here.
It is a charge and release (ie TDB), style single attack that has a chance to paralysis and increase damage on a mob when it is stunned.
