Just follow the main quest line. It keeps you nicely ticking over in the early caves giving you access to all the drops and rares for your lvl.

You will finally get access to a free entry out of the starter zone through the fork to the clearing where you will finish the main quest line around levels 45-50.

Then you have access to the other caves which there’s loads to see. (Around 75% more content in the game after starter zone)

If you struggle past lvl50 in any zone then go back to the starter caves and do the cave quests which are obtained from touch stones outside the relative caves....there’s plenty that could see you upto levels 55-60.

I won’t post all the names of the caves in order...do the quests they will guide you and it would be more fun for you.

Gonna bump this - Where should I be lvling as a solo lvl49 warrior?

I've been following the quest line, but stuck as I can't kill the sub Viper for that quest.

Find a group then you loser. Wiz/tao can solo pretty easily.

To be fair, having the decent quest items behind boss kills & contested content does kinda screw over solo players, as a warrior.
(I'm assuming they follow the same path as the first set for the ring, as thats as far as i got)

Subs are fine tho, and the rest of the quests were doable.

I am currently 46 Tao. I have ventured around the caves surrounding western forest:

Alphids - 270 - 300 exp per mob. Difficult Easy - Med at start - Easy there after. Decent gold and speed of kill makes me want to just go back here to lvl as my skeleys can wreck them pretty quick.

WT - High 300's exp - This cave felt a bit pointless to me as a tao as I killed quicker in alphids and my skeleys weren't in danger where WT wrecked skeleys if too much aggro.

Bamboo Forest (might have mixed the name up - top north of Western forest) - 500-600 exp Bears / Tigers. I find this place a bit like old BDD lvling where the bears are tongs and the tigers are ES's - not bad lvling on the cheetahs but Bears take too long for the exp reward

Bamboo Forest Final Area (3rd Stage) - 700 exp > Pretty much all ranged > even had a hut you can go in with about 30 of them, Awful for mage but melee be right at home.

Draken mines - 1.7k exp per mob - pretty tanky - at 46 takes me maybe 30 secs to kill one with fully lvld skeleys - exp good but much better places out there

I hear spider hunting is good but aint found the cave yet. Feel I am missing an entire sections to explore but learning as I go but I have yet to find a cave better than alphids for speed of kill for bringing in exp vs cash to re-pot as ammys and poisons are expensive!

From lvl 1 to 40 just follow the quest line ,
- start dread town kill cow cat shits like that....
- move to western forest , kill ork ( in other mir we call it Omas)
- move to aphid stay there till all quest done, U dont need to kill the boss to move to next stage.
- Move to WT and do the quest and get exp... ( good items can drop along the way as well like 50 wepons )
- Move to bamboo Jungle and again follow the quest kill mobs, forget about the last stage of quest to kill the boss .. no need
- Now u can go unlock the FORT ( top of the dread town) .. u can be around 40+ on this stage
- after finish the quest in FORT go to clearing and explore the rest of town like wydwood , whitebeach , Frozen where u can get70+

As a warrior and a casual myself. You can make 50% an hour LvLs 50-60 with an exp pot 20% buff on. In WT KR and on 2nd Floor. Maybe 30% an hour LvL 57-60 if there’s other ppl taking some lures at your times.

Shows the difference styles or maybe just me where as a tao WT didn't feel like it offered me anything that I couldn't of gotten better alphids

Aphids Hurt a lot more than WT, but I can see Tao doing ok there as in any other place as you don’t get hit a lot. was only using 2 medium HP pots per huge back to wall lure that I re picked up from the mass drops of pots, gold and items. Couldn’t do huge lures like that in Alphids without taking a pounding.

Being at that stage your near the end of main Q line. That sub hurts I grouped with who ever was there just for the quest, most ppl say yes as there in same boat. I did the same for BroodQueen and WT, most ppl let you join even if it’s to stand at the side line to complete quest.

Then I’d strongly suggest HalfMoon in WT until 60

I think WT mobs hurt a bit more, but are mainly physical based, where aphids i think are pure magical (poison)? Also, the 2 vs 1 range hurts wars a lot.

Skellies, once lvled, hardly take any damage per hit, so they don't care how many are hitting them at a time. For them the higher individual damage from woomas is a much more limiting factor.

That said, in a corner wt is very doable as well, just more of a pain to set up.

As a lvl 50 tao i'm kinda looking around for the best place as well. Bamboo is actually ok, as are the stoneogre / armadillo areas.
