Not a bad idea but, I think alot of threads that were handy have been deleted, Help threads for 1.9 ect im sure it would not have hurt to keep things that could have helped people when they use the search function instead of somone posting every time somthing goes wrong because the threads that people have made before and people have posted fixes on have all been deleted. And then people say, USE THE SEACH FUNCTION!

Just my bit of input though :P

this used to apply

RS1. NEW Threads
================
1. New threads must ONLY be used in order to make an advertisement about the server.
1a. Advertisements MUST contain an IP address, servername and sigstat image in the post itself.
2. The subject must include the servers name, and its version.
3. One post per server advert. "Bumping" is allowed only when the last post in the thread is more than 7 days old.
4. New information must be edited into the first post.
5. DO NOT advertise an 'upcoming server', all new server advertisements MUST be online or the thread will be deleted, up-coming servers should go in the up-coming servers forum.
6. Servers using names of past servers, will not be allowed unless permission is given from its owner. (You can get a list of past servers at http://mirtracks.co.uk/sc5/analytics/allservers.php)

but as leo isnt around anymore, perhaps it can be changed to use Kaoris online count info, so that people can see on the first post if its online offline

and maybe merge village and os advert to save swapping between posts to see slanging matches :p

tbh old threads are used for info ect an ONLINE OFFLINE next to them would be better as some of the older threads still have their uses.

i have already started a cleanup of the mir2 sections that i moderate, thats why i was asking on server threads if a server was online or still in development, any that are not the threads are locked.

i will carry on but iam a little restricted at the mo as i dont have the internet at home at the min as ive moved so iam on the web via my work pda, it will be done but will take a few more weeks before its complete.
