Hi, im looking to join a mir server. And was wondering whats the highest level on here, and is it possible to catch up ?

Some of the content you have ingame, looks proper kool. Mir has come alot from when i last played :P

Highest level is over 190, don't know the exact figure myself. It's always possible to catch up, if you're willing to put the time and effort in. You're not going to catch up in a day.

theres a couple users around the 190 mark... majority of server id say is around the 130-170 mark.... its not really hard to catch up to the average level.

the high levels dont level any more either, they will just fight and hunt, so again, isnt hard to catch up with some1 who isnt levelin lol

Its defo possible to catch up, personally id say its worth joining even as a new comer Dont worry, im only level 61 lmao, goin to take me a while to catch up as i work alot etc =/

Only negative comment i have to make about the server is aimed at the community...unless your level 100+ (id say) then no1 will communicate with you loool.

Apart from that, thumbs up :thumbup1:

quite a few ppl on forums that normally help new commers... creem99 normally does

just do a post, normally get the odd person willing to help

We seem to be getting quite a few new members recently, so the exp needed for each level between 50-120 has been lowered, so you should be easily able to catch up.

No, the server will continue to run as long as the players play it.

some big changes going on atm...

start level has been increased to level 100 with a new starter kit to encourage new characters and players.

is the leveling @ 100 as it is or it mate easyer ? cus if people join say at lvl 100 and see its a struggle to get to 105-110 they'll most likely give up. x

The exp has been made a little easier for level 100-135

levellings easy at 100, Like ben said make a thread and let people know what servers you've played before and im sure someone in game will know you and be willing to help you out.

Best advice i can give is to start off by doing a few quests or Battle Arenas, coz these will give you ££, exp and GPs that when you press Y and enter the gamepoint shop will enable you to buy up to x3 exp without having to donate. So that speeds things up a little.

And if you can manage to get into a guild, you can take advantage of their x5.1exp for 30mins every day and at the lowest level of 100 you're likely to make at least a couple levels on this wherever you hunt.

Id be suprised if you were still lower than level 120 ina couple days, and thats based around an average player.

What theias said is great advice really, Think i might add some of that information ingame to new commers as a little guide.

Ive also gone thro all the low level quests this morning and adjusted the amount of mobs you need 2 kill, so its not just 1st quest kill 200 mobs, its about 40 mobs now, a lot more manageable.

Also adjusted a few of the mob strengths in a couple low level caves

Ingame guides a good idea tbh the amount of peole iv come across who dont even know what BattleArena is let alone where it is is quite surprising.

But i suppose you'd expect it to be some sort of PVP arena or something.

Yer ive added little hints and tips to the teleport npc now that randomly come up if ur under level 120, also changed about the exp pots so they are pretty easy for new commers to get now

still plenty more changes left to do tho

I will be taking the server down to perform some maintenance and add some fixes in 30 minutes at 11PM.


It may be down up to an hour.


Server is back up.

The issue with @killpet should be sorted along with other behind the scene fixes. Lag will probably still be there, may even be a little worse as the server is set to record any errors found and report them to me.
