Fps issues since last patch

Since last patch, fps on my better system went from a rock stable 60 to being all over the place from 55 to 60.

It may seem like a small issue, but the game actually feels slower now and from what I've heard chatting to other players the feeling is the same for everyone. There's also no apparent reason my fps should go down when GPU usage is around 10%.. something feels wrong.

Can confirm I felt the same on my decent setup. I felt a lot sluggish when running instead of smooth, and FPS was jumbling around 59-61 instead of a steady 60.

weirdly i actually felt much, much faster today since the update, i no longer feel sluggish.

Same with bad fps here. Usually am 60-64 but just sitting in town right now with no one around I am not getting over 56fps.

Ok just got my fps back to normal, by messing around with screen res in game. Used to have 1024*768 in game and 1776*1000 on my monitor for the best fps but now switched to 800*600 in game and fps went back into the 60's. Might help the op?

We had a quick look into this and it looks like it might be the Ping code... If you turn /Check debug screen off, you should get full 60fps again (at least I did with fraps open).

I still feel less "smooth" than before your recent changes. It's really hard to describe.

yeah im feeling more and more lumps appearing in the game. Like the SSD is too quick for the game

No where near as smooth as it used to be before all these lighting changes started coming in, as people have been saying i always feel sluggish/alot slower than before.

I actually feel faster, playing on a laptop if that helps figure out what's changed for people.
