contro panel>system> power settings, make sure your sacrificing using more electricity for more power/optimization , use windows aerox theme and also play in windowed mode, the game will run at higher fps and looks alot better in windowed mode imo, might take abit of getting used to but i would do it, my pc is average at best i3 processor 2Gb gforce 660 grahics card 8Gb ram, and standard broadband with 1/2mb upload. i sit at a constant 60 fps with 0 lag and i mean 0 lag, been playing over a month now ive never had someone skipping past me running long corridors, some ppl seem to be exactly the same speed as me but im yet to meet a tweaker with fibreoptics who skips on my screen. i hope you can mange to stay and sort your lag, for me i actually had to uninstall my mouse drivers as it slowed my ingame speed down about 20% with was depressing enough to consider quitting!

Check what graphics card you have,
Controlpanel, system, device manager. Then find it in the list under display.
Prob a quicker way but im no techie.

If you've got one of the newer laptops with switchable graphics you're pretty much screwed. Chronicles runs (poorly) on the integrated and that's it.

Runs fine with the integrated card on my Macbook

BH
I'm pretty sure you'd be seeing 30ish fps in large fights just as I do.

Intel HD4600 1.2 ghz
core i5-4200m 3ghz

which at the end of the day is silly since the Amd HD8770m that is also in the system is sitting there doing nothing.

I've been told its my motherboard that is most likely bottle necking the performance capabilities of my set up. even though its fine for other games on max settings =(
I have downloaded windows 7 ultimate as a last attempt at speeding things up without having to go inside =/ I just have not got around to installing it/formatting.

Yeah Silva its very disheartening, I love pvp but on here I am an easy target as i'm always swinging 3 steps behind people and considered to be a "shlt sin" lol I cant argue because I do spend more time dead than alive when it comes to fights.

Yeah jokin, it helped marginally. I also had help from Koriban setting up my graphics card settings, again i saw a small improvement but still far too slow to effectively pvp.
Even harryh (DoubleEdge) skipped 4 times on my screen in 1 short run in BDD and he is apparently slow lol.

I suffer this exact problem, when it's dark on MIR I lag, when it's light I don't...
It's definatley the lighting effects on my system, it does the same on Videls laptop, and the same when mobs are Lion Roared><

why not just make everywhere light and use the torch slot for an extra item like another ring or something

Id agree outside, in towns/mw/bw/pi, just not in caves ;p
