Game will not run

I have d/l files to c: and to desk top, I have told zone alarm chronicle is good and set all I can in folder to run as admin. when I click play the patcher disappears and nothing happens.
What a m I doing wrong ? >.<

Make sure it is only installed to C:\ if you want it on your desktop create a shortcut. Make sure if you have any anti-virus on your pc to disable or temporarily disable them. I use Avast and it detects Chronicles patcher as a virus or trojan and automatically quarantines it, why I dont know as it never used to.

I use Zone Alarm anti Virus, turned off AV and Firewall same result >.<

Try disabling your AV completely, people have said that "allowing" mir through them doesnt always work.

Try it once, if it works you know for sure whays stopping it and can try experiment with setting if you arent happy disabling it everytime you want to play mir.

I suspect its your Virus Checker, try disabling it all together...

If that fails we could set up a remote desktop session so one of the team can get in and have a look.

There is a help post stickyed at the top of the chronicals forums, this sounds like your .net isnt running properly as its just crashing, also where you run the patcher from does it create an error.txt file??

You are better off installing directx (9 upwards) and .net frame work 3.5 and 4.0, again its all in the sticky thread, if that doesnt work come back to us.
