Anyone know where to get a half decent gaming laptop for under £500? Has to be a laptop as I'm always on the move.

Thinking of just going and grabbing this

I'd seriously look elsewhere, including 2nd hand if I was you, for a 'half-decent' gaming laptop, I'd be looking at 17" screen to start, the I5 should be fine, you'd definately be much better off getting a SSD and fitting it yourself. It is amazing what you can pick up 2nd hand, certainly for the price you are looking at paying. If warranty is a problem don't worry, the second hand lappy's i was looking at a few months ago still had 9 months warranty on them, they were all in the 800-900 brand new range (but priced at 500ish to sell) and were decent brands too like Viao etc. Shop around, but I'd be willing to bet the best deal you'll get is second hand.

I purchased a Samsung 700G7A 3D gaming laptop a year or so back and it's lightening fast, never had any problems and promises to play titanfall in 3D without any snags,

but! It doesn't seem to be any good for Mir and pricey >_< for high end gfx games tho its ideal, heavy tho, if ur gonna invest in a gaming laptop get something future proof ya might pay a lot more but finance is always an option and pay £50 a month back forever lol

You couldn't get any more ripped of if you purchase from Currys, your better of looking on Ebay or going to a computer shop that builds custom machines, and you can have what you want.

If you want a real deal for your money then currys isn't that great, but if you want an easy buy then that laptop isn't half bad.
