Gateway MT6839b Notebook Drivers needed!

Hey


First of all thanks for reading, I currently have a laptop *Gateway MT6839b* however this laptop came with windows vista, So fair play i have gave it a go for some time now maybe 2-3 months however none of my old pc games seem to be compatible which is a right pain as i have been out spent money on games for my pc that i cant use anymore. So my plans have been to go back to windows xp pro. I have been looking around for the drivers for my laptop with no luck! On the gateway website they supply drivers, However for some reason my laptop model is not on there!!

Any help on finding these drivers would be great!

The specs don't help much unless you could tell me the brand of each component. The drivers would be on the manufacturing company's website.

If you bought your computer from a store or from a certain type of deal, then it would have come with a disk with copies of preinstalled drivers.

Hey thanks for the reply i baught my laptop from tesco`s it did come with a disk but that disk is to reinstall windows vista so im guessing even if i did manage to get the drivers from it i think they would be drivers for windows vista!!

dam i didnt think this would be as hard as this

Why don't you try and put in XP on a partition on the current system if this option is available to you.
