You cannot compare sexuality to life choices or any choice for that matter. To do so simply renders you a fool.

So people are born bisexual?

Sorry if i offended anybody, but its just my opinion...I wont act like I know people have a choice, but I cant logically understand how somebody could be born with a certain sexual apatite. Its not only, as you claim - Gays been born gay, but I also don't grasp the belief that we're all born heterosexuals. We're all born the same, its incidents in life that shape you.

No point getting high rate because people have different opinions.

On another note, I was watching something on tv about a lad who played rugby and weighed over 16 stone at 19 years old, got knocked over by a car and was in a coma for x amoutn of time;. When he woke up he could remember most things but he turned gay, stopped playing rugby and now even talks with the gay man twang, so to speak. .Maybe it is something that triggers in the brain, who knows - Either way it doesnt bother me, at all.

Also, why did I get an infraction for swearing at a member, when the Admin swore at me?

Yes...being attracted to both genders...is it really that unfathomable?

That is a very different statement to "people choose to be gay". You don't seem very clear on your own opinion so why would anyone listen?

Close but no cigar. He wasn't a rugby player and wasn't that fat but was a typical hetro guy - he was doing front rolls down a hill, did damage to his brain which caused a stroke. When he woke up "he was gay" and yeah basically turned into a hairdressing fag. That's like the ONLY known case of such a thing though and even doctors didn't believe he was truely hetro before.

OMG!!! He woke up gay!! He must of knocked something out of place....

Or, He was a closet gay prior to the accident, Woke up, expressed his feelings without any concern, worry or doubt he may have had before hand and live his life how he may have always wanted....

Thats probably ABIT more realistic.

Any proof that a person is born gay? Any proof at all?

Theres loads of proof against people been born gay, not the other way round though. Please provide sources for your claims, until then its all just your opinion.

Scientific researchers specializing in human sexuality have shown that homosexuality is genetic (and that people are born gay). I am unaware of any study that has ever suggested that sexual orientation is a choice.

Scientific research from October 2004 that was replicated in June 2008 stated that scientists have found that women tend to have more children when they inherit the same genetic factors linked to homosexuality in men. This fertility boost more than compensates for the lack of offspring fathered by gay men, and keeps the “gay” genetic factors in circulation. A lead researcher said "You have all this antagonism against homosexuality because they say it's against nature because it doesn't lead to reproduction. We found out this is not true because homosexuality is just one of the consequences of strategies for making females more fecund" and that their findings offered "a solution to the Darwinian paradox and an explanation of why natural selection does not progressively eliminate homosexuals."

A 2005 study reported genetic scans showing a clustering of the same genetic pattern among gay men on three chromosomes - chromosomes 7, 8, and 10. The regions on chromosome 7 and 8 were associated with male sexual orientation regardless of whether the man got them from his mother or father. The regions on chromosome 10 were only associated with male sexual orientation if they were inherited from the mother.

A study published in Human Genetics in February 2006 examined X chromosome inactivation in mothers of gay sons and mothers whose sons were not gay. Researchers found extreme differences between women who had gay sons and women who did not.

A study from 2006 said that researchers have known for years that a man's likelihood of being gay rises with the number of older biological brothers, but the new study found that the so-called "fraternal birth order effect" persists even if gay men were raised away from their biological families & that "the research suggests that the development of sexual orientation is influenced before birth."

I saw a documentary years ago about gay animals, they did a trial where a gay sheep would be let in a pen with caged male/female sheep and an "entrance hole" in the walls. If the sheep was gay the unfortunate male sheep in the cage got a surprise up his bum (WOT ABOUT SHEEP RIGHTS?!?). Anyway they studied the brains of these animals and concluded their sexuality was controlled by the size of a specific part of the brain. If it was above a certain size they would be attracted to males, smaller females and they hypothesised (with much uproar from LGBT groups) that this was the same with all animals humans included
