There's your problem. Buying such a card is an abomination unto me.

Because u are such a smart ass maybe u can point me into the right dirrection of purchasing a PCI graphics card that is compatible with a GAY PC COMPUTER MANUFACTURER such as dell.

Let me put this REALLY simple for you.

INFORMED buying decisions are what RESPONSIBLE people make. If you had taken 30 SECONDS on google, you would have realised that PCI graphics cards are no longer made, the last generation that were PCI were extremely weak in performance.

But NO. You came here with an attitude, thinking £20 would solve all your problems. RMA your card, and save up for a new PC.

That is, of course, assuming that someone who considers a Dell 'gay' understands the term RMA.

Intel Extreme graphics usually onboard and use your system ram, 64mb. You wouldn't have seen much of an increase using the PCI interface. If you are going to upgrade in the future, then I suggest you use RivaTuner (search google) to tweak the current card/give it a performance boost.

FX5500 usually benchmark around 1100 (with decent CPU and RAM) on 3DMARK [personal experience].

A new mobo wouldn't work with your case or powersupply.

I spent about 1 hour talking to someone about my motherboard and came to the conclusion that is socket 768 or something like that. And anyways i have the "latest" meaning the best i can do is only upgrade to a agp slot also meaning that i cant upgrade my speed of 2.4ghz and im not sure about my memmory.

but what i know now is that dell has one of the cheapest suppliers and they sell their pc's for alot. i payed 1100 quid for my pc with a printer 2 years ago (was a mega noob). + guarantee 3 years.

Forceware is onto the 80 series now. Get onto the official nVidia site.

Hunter: Seriously, buy a complete new package. Dells are great PCs for short-term use (Approx 1 year), but for an upgradable *****, you really need a custom rig or customised pre-built.
