Reinstalling the OS never worked for me And i done that 5 times lol :P Maybe its worth a try for you though stan because your graphics card is new, mine is fairly old and i recon its diein

I did notice though that when the screen resolution is set to 800x600, it works fine, but i hate that resolution. And when the screen resolution is set to 1024x768, well, thats when the problem starts.

NOTE: My problem is roughly the same as stans, accept i can log onto my computer and access my desktop etc, where as stan cant get passed the login screen i do believe

Yes i cant get to the windows interface with 'Start' etc on it.

Another thing ive found out it that when i install the drivers for my new card and the setup finishes, it asks to re-boot my PC, if i say Yes reboot i get that Crash problem but if i say no and just leave my PC for 3 -5 seconds it flashe's off black and doesnt show nothing. Then i have to manually restart then when it loads to Select account screen i get that crash problem .
