restart ur pc and retry running the gates and start the DBserver first , if you get that starttimer error then u will need to check that the info indbsrc is the same info needed to connect to sql DB. also check !setup.tetx aswell.

ive done a search for you on this but i didnt get much help on fateal error! server verification failed.

basically most of what i read was pointing to ips and ports , this is one of those errors where there is no 100% fix.

I would say it would be the DBServer by the looks of it also.
Seems to have given that starttimer error at first, which doesnt usually happen.

Delete the contents of your charater db and id db goto LoginServ > FDDB or IDDB delete the contents then go to the DBserv Folder> FDDB or IDDB delete the contents of them then boot the gates back up.

We used to have this problem on 1.9 and it was down to corrupt charater databases.

Hope this helps!

I doubt it would be the ports. Hmm seems weird get your system all rebooted ect. This some times happenes when you time out on a server then try relog (say if you die) then after x amount of time you relog then receive this error hmm.
