Getting in game. help.

Not usually i ask for help on this, but its been so long since ive setup files ive forgotten how to fix this.

Using the new king files, but it doesnt really make a difference.

Im stuck at the 'connecting to server, place wait' screen. Just wont get past that.

does anyone know reasons why it should do that?

Maybe the gamegate? (im using a diff one that i shld b using)
Old exe?
other?

please help! Will throw out the working kingnf files once i have this running.

Edit: if anyones tried these files, ull know the gates seem messed up. But i think ive got the 3 correct gates running, they all close (-----][-----). So i dont think thats the problem.

does your game gate show your ip is actually connecting?

im using 127.0.0.1, this is what everything shows..

theres also a regserver which comes with the files, iv ran that. but it doesnt make any difference. the other reg server with it i dont get, all untranslated and no idea what the buttons mean.

You have to use there Gates supplied (dbsrv springs to mind) and the right Client also (311K). Give me a couple of days to sort my life out and Ill tell you what you need to know..

Oh and BTW - RegServer is a Program that works in tandom with a Front end Client thingy to make accounts and login - chinese use this method a lot..

im using all the gates supplied. but it came with 2 selchrgates, and 2 rungates. also im using the newer client which supports glows and fame titles. but its not 311K, so that cld b stopping me.

thanks, im in no real rush tbh, just wanted to try the glows out lol.

if this supports ALL spells in euro, then its already better than crueldragon and holley. it contains most of the main holley updates already.

i had a similar problem with the 3g server, swapping ip's to 192.168.1.2 rather than 127.0.0.1 fixed the problem.

any 1 got a link to 311k Client? if thats what it is as im up to the same point as Farril, everything else seems to work

the correct client doesnt get it working, i wld freely give out the client but it contains cheats which can be used on any server so i cant.

to get working we believe you need the newest dbsrv,loginsrv, and db's, havnt had chance to find the new db though, will mayb do it tonight.

kingsoft.exe isnt loading anymore im getting a kernel32.dll error or something, does any 1 know how to fix this? i also get it with any server i try and run now :S
