I know this was possible on the DSY online files. Is it possible using the emulator files?

Not sure on the MUSIC(x) method but the simple MUSIC method works,

./MUSIC/sound.lst
Map number / MP3 File name
EG:
0 Music\Bichontune.mp3

Thats the method i use for background music. It works and it loops...i took a lot of the lineage 2 music and quite a bit from mir3 for my server.

How exactly does that work?

I create a file called 'sound.lst' in the folder "Music" in my client folder. Then i put the mp3 in the music folder, name it Bichon.mp3, then in the file i put
0 Music\Bichon.mp3 ?

Nothing seems to happen that way ><. Could it be because its 192kbps?

Strange, all my BGMs are 128 so shouldnt have a prob there. ill have a look into in a min as im just cutting the Lineage 2 intro music. Have u tried copy and pasting my sound.lst file and renaming the the music in it? dont think this wil make a differance either but do your mp3 have spaces in?
