Is Owned your server name (capital O lower case wned) ??
Is the server name also in TBL_severinfo?
Is the HL file set up to log into the Net IP?
Do you have multiple firewalls if so I found they tripped each other up and I had to open more than 7000-7200 in router otherwise people from outside can't log in though I could
If you try open ports 3000-7200 in router firewall but only 7000-7200 in other firewalls you'll still have pc protection but people can then log into your server.

Client side HL_Mir3G.ini file - you need to use a special encrypting program to put in the NET IP address (the program should have come with your server files). I can't tell you it's original name because I renamed it but the icon looks like a tyranosaurus running towards you with it's mouth open lol.

if you need to check if ports are opened properly, you have to ask someone to do a telnet netip 7000 in cmd.
If 7000, 7100, 7200 all works.. then it's client or server.

When you do TELNET netip 7000, TELNET netip 7100, TELNET netip 7200 from another computer in another home. All 3 gates are showing something like this?
Connected other ip
Disconnected other ip
if yes, you have server/client problem.
Is the client matching?
if yes, looking at all 3 gates, are Connected, Disconnected showing?

telnet did work but no the gates arnt doing that

i assume so its the same client we using locally to get on and that works
