I'm starting to get a bit pissed, i thought i had figured it out but i didnt work.

i've got legend of mir 3 (european version) from the offical site and updated it ... can ne1 direct me on how to play on a prive server and could you recomend one pls

right open the INI files change IPs to the p servers IP. Change Name to P Server IP

Make a shortcut onto your desktop of Mir3.exe
right click on the shortcut -> properties
add the following after the source of the files ( -u -c )
should work if not before -u and -c add the IP of server

ill upload the stuff i use for connecting when im at home if it still dont work

As for private servers look in Advertisments for one that suits you

you need to decode the mir3.cin and change that aswell. all this has been discussed on other threads. please just search.

the site you downloaded it off usually does the trick. mir3europe.com is the newest and only official client, the one you need.

and look in advertisements for servers.

What sort of server you after, do you want Large old style maps (Job) or newer Euromir3 Maps (3G).. The Server advert will tell you everyting you need to know, if it is JOB then the client you have is next to useless as it requires Client V 1.4 as per Olypia as they use the larger maps.

The only way you can use a untouched client (Euromir3) is when / If a Server comes online using the Latest Server - which at the moment there is none that I know of - this means more downloading of patches..

Oh yea can i request a newbie guide in this section (i will gladly write 1 after i can actually do it) in lameless terms, i mean i cant be the first member who is clueless on how to do it :S

that looks like euro mir... they use small maps... so it's PtW not JoB

You want a Guide for what ???? Majority of this section is discussing Server files, as in aquiring them and running your own. From what i can gather though you like the idea of playing a Private server and its Totally going over you head..

Its really so simple, it does def not require a Guide....let me show you...

You look through the Server advetisments, you pick out one that matches what you would like, so for example JOB or 3G Maps (large old style vs Small Euromir3 style) and then they NORMALLY have a forum / web page to go to.

It is at this very point you go off to there forums, register a Account and read the posts contained inside. 9 times out of 10 they will have a Guide on were to download the client, how to patch it and so forth. If you are having problems getting online on this server, guess where you post a question - Yer thats right, on THERE forum as they will be able to help you get the right files etc..

I have posted a FAQ (Frequently Asked questions) on Mir3 itself, Ill update it at some point as well...guides on making a server, lost track of the number of times I have published Links for V1.4 Client (JOB) and so forth...

Quesion for you........

If you wanted to play on Euromir3 - what would you do??
The Answe should be - go there there site, grab there client, make a account and play - correct - its about the same on Private servers TBH...
