Avoiding the sale of gg items was what we were trying to achieve...

How lol? Preventing none donators from these items is silly, they should be available on the market place by donators for the general population, it's only very low exp pots mounts and hair cuts, would create a higher demand for the items and more to be bought from GG shop and sold on, as a lot of people are tight and refuse to part with a couple of quid a month :p

Shouldn't be able to sell them.

If the server continues to carry on with its professionalism & dedication they will get a 5er a month off me.

The reason being is this.... Basically u have people with a lot of money in rl who will buy these items and then sell them for game cash, they will then have a hell of a lot more cash then the general people, these ppl will then be able to buy the better items and drive the prices up. I know u say there only a few items but I can imagine the exp boost going for 4-5 mil, so buying 5 or 6 of these will get the person nearly 30 mil

Will also stop 1 person buying a "knowledge torch" (skill neki), And sharing it with their whole guild and mates.

Which equals less money, if people cant get the items in game by legit methods, they will be more tempted to donate.

I disagree. They shouldn't be tradable.
I thought that most of the gameshop items are also in dropfiles here, but rare. If they are then maybe the dropped item can be sold.

Arguments for things not to be tradeable are inconsistent.

'shouldn't be tradeable because then people can donate to get an advantage'

At the same time its perfectly fine to donate right now and gain an advantage? Use some brain cells people...

It all comes down to how people are willing to spend their time.

Also it has 0 impact on the economy because it does not introduce items or gold.

I don't mind them not being tradable, if you want to trade GG stuff for an ingame item(eg. JudgementMace) then can't you just put their name into who gets the game gold when you donating. However this could be abused - someone wants to buy the item but won't pay for games old until recieving item, but other person may want game gold first.

Need some kind of middle man dealing with GG trading.

Lets face it there is no real game killing advantage from any of the items in the Gameshop. So should not be tradeable does not even come into it. Some people have no access to buying Gamecash due to a variety of reasons so buying it for ingame gold is no real biggy. But everyone has there opinions.

The only real advantage is the meager exp boost after all mounts are merely for show and to waste 17 quid on a mount seems pretty much a waste of time.
They should have offered 3 , 6 , or 12 month subscriptions to coincide with the loyalty bonus as i imagine more people would have opted for that option.

This has been discussed over and over again on many forums.
@kai if you cannot see why selling gameshop items for ingame gold can unbalance game please go read Eternals announcement about closing gameshop on his server.
I like what the devs have done here. They thought about it. Seen what happens other places and to me this is a good response to a very tricky aspect of the game.
Maybe the gameshop will close here also- after a while.
